"Clean spacious room,very close to town, owners very friendly, only downside is having to walk up a hill to get to it."

"Staff were very efficient and friendly. I have disability, someone had parked across the space outside and I let reception know. The disabled spaces need repainting as they are very worn. Bar staff very good, we didn't use restaurant. Lovely bathroom. Bed comfortable. Wardrobe doors creaked very badly, maybe some WD40 on the hinges would help! Good view. Lovely hotel and we enjoyed our stay and will be returning.Very happy with our short break here at the Royal."

"I arrived after booking a room for 3 adults - a double and a single beds. Staff helpful but stated we could have choice of a newly renovated room or one we had booked. I asked to see both rooms first as outside of hotel looked terribly run down. He then proceeded to tell us rooms were actually down the road, visited rooms and renovated room only had a pull out sofa that looked extremely small for an adult so accepted other room. Parking was limited in a run down alley, room had limited Seaview...

"Room was spotless stayed there with my girlfriend and our 2 kids, very quiet at night well I never heard anybody room was clean 10/10 from me, if I go back to western I stay here again."
