"Hotel was clean and bed was comfortable, the front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful with ideas where to eat and go. Close walk the beach. Note: rooms do not have air conditioning but with windows open it was not a problem with our stay."
Westport Marina Cottages

"The cabin has all the little details you would want to be comfortable. Check-in and check-out were quick and painless. The sea lions and harbor seals swimming right in front of the deck were really fun. We had cottage 18 on the far end. Teo things to know about this cottage is that the thermostat for the area by the queen bed is problematic. The dial doea not function correctly so we realky had to mess with it to get the baseboard by the bed not to come on and cook us at night. Also… being at the end you are right next to a compressor, generator, somethin unit at a fish intake place next door that is really loud and runs 24/7. Woild have been nice to just hear the sounds of the harbor without that, but hey - it’s a fishing town so just know that end unit has that noise."

"Rooms were clean and tidy. Sheets and towels fresh and in great condition. Bed comfortable as well as pillows. Proximity to downtown Westport an easy walk. Our room had a nice view of the marina. Staff professional and attentive. Minus 1 star as walls are thin and sound easily heard from adjacent rooms and walkway. People who arise for fishing are easily discernable around 3:30 am. Room was outfitted with earplugs as a resolution to an inherent noise issue. Also, there was no bathroom fan in the unit we stayed."

"The Ocean Avenue Inn was just what I needed for this trip. Give us a place to stay it gave us a place to sleep before an early morning fishing trip yesterday."

"Great location! Could walk/bike to shops, pier, beach. Walls and floors insulation is poor. We could hear other guests ( TV, conversation, footsteps)."

"Such a wonderful place to stay! Clean,Warm and cozy, comfortable furniture, beds were great! Nice linens, bathroom wasNice sized, clean and attractive. The deck was so wonderful, nice path to the beach and lovely beach walks! Highly recommend. Would love to stay here again! Don’t hesitate..go for it!"
