"I was looking for an affordable dog friendly vacancy on the Oregon or Washington Coast to get away from the heat wave here in Vancouver. I found that at the Fireside Inn in Long Beach. The staff was so kind and helpful. The continental breakfast was nice and the 24 seven coffee, tea and ice water dispensers a nice touch. I wasn’t crazy about the mattress. It was so squishy. It was hard to move around in. Through no fault of their own, it certainly is not anywhere in a scenic area, but definitely close to the boardwalk, restaurants and access to stores and so on. It was quiet at night even with a group of motorcycle riders who honored the 10 o’clock quiet time."
