"The after 8:00pm check-in process was very efficient and quick once I saw the sign saying to ring the doorbell. The staff person was very gracious as well. We were pleasantly surprised at the modern amenities, but disappointed at the lack of breakfast. We were extremely happy to see the two does feeding just outside our window!"

"Our room had been recently remodeled. It was very clean and was equipped with microwave, coffeemaker, and refrigerator. The view from our window was amazing."

"These places looked like tiny homes from the outside. Very cute and cottage-y. Inside was simply a bedroom and bathroom and a small private outside patio. The king bed was very comfortable. However the TV didn't seem to work and the shower curtain was too short so the shower leaked. An easy fix. It was a bit dark inside, but it was very clean. We would stay again"

"The free breakfast here was amazing! The view was spectacular especially at night if you pick a room that is facing the bridge. The hotel is very pet friendly, including giving your dog treats upon check-in."

"We stayed in the Captain's Quarters and it was a very nice room. Full kitchen and refrigerator, dishes and kitchen utensils. Plus a large couch that made up into an extra bed if more than two people were staying and a comfy queen bed, plus a large flat screen tv. Very friendly office and cleaning staff. We were close to the beach and just a block off of Boldstad where the Long Beach archway is. The motel also has their own little outdoor picnic area with chairs and a table plus an outdoor firepit. We could walk to the Cottage Bakery or shop at the many quaint stores or have a great dinner at Castaways."

"When we drove up to this hotel, we almost drove away. The exterior is poorly maintained and looks dilapidated. We decided to give the room a try. It was better, although dated and seemed quite clean. We needed help with the TV and the young man from the counter was very helpful. Our room was facing the bridge and quite scenic. It was near the end of the riverwalk and a bit sketchy.No problems though. I would not stay here again."

"When you book do so close to the time needed or they will charge you 3 times the amount. The place seemed to house homeless. Many were mentally ill. No problems but I didn’t feel safe."

"Really cool historic small inn feel with a pub downstairs. Rooms are small and rustic, but comfy. Fun old style tub in bathroom. We were over some type of utility room and so there was a repetitive rhythm we heard all night. No ghosts were heard or seen."

"Very friendly staff. The location is excellent. Walking distance to lots of fun places in downtown Astoria. The hotel is quirky in the best way. I would definitely stay there again. "
