Top Westport Hotel Reviews

Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Aberdeen

10/10 Excellent

"Everything was great for our week long stay. Only thing I would suggest is getting new pillows. The pillow were so soft & worn that we had to ball them up to get a decent”pillow” out if it"

The Alonzo Ward Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"We had a late check-in planned (around midnight) and called to let staff know the day before. Sarah advised this was not a problem and to call when we arrived, and she would explain how to get in and find the key for our room. We were able to make it about 2 hours earlier and called; Sarah guided us into the hotel and told us where to find the key. She was terrific! Even tho it had to be a hassle to deal with our late check-in, she was very kind, considerate and super helpful! She deserves a raise ;) The room itself was lovely, clean and inviting. The bed was VERY comfortable and even the pillows were great - not the usual flat, useless variety. The hotel still has a lot of the features it must have had from the past (older elevator, wooden doors, double lobby doors with glass, etc.), beautiful. We can't say enough positive things about our stay. Loved it! Can't wait to stay there again!"

10/10 Excellent

"Absolutely an amazing place to stay. High quality place with outstanding craftsmanship. Janine and Kelly were great to work with and very welcoming. Would definitely recommend this rental to anyone and look forward to our next stay."

Foote Creek Lodge

8/10 Good

"There was an issue with climate control. We had 7 adults and 3 children so we utilized all of the bedrooms. Unfortunately there is only one climate control for the whole house which is on the main floor. With the climate control set for the main floor the basement rooms and bathroom were cold and we were very uncomfortable. Basically if the AC is on, the basement will be in the upper 60's at best. I would suggest space heaters in the basement for future rentals even if the outdoor temperatures are high. Also, the house needs to have the AC on early in the day for check-ins. We arrived and it was turned off and it took several hours for the upstairs to cool down below 80 degrees. On another note, the water presser in the showers is very low.The location is absolutely beautiful and we loved the space. Michelle was very communicative except on check-in day when we were trying to figure out how to cool the house down. Unfortunately, there was a lengthy delay that one time. Other than that she was very quick to respond. We would definitely rent this property again but would need to address the temperature situation."
