"We had a lovely weekend staying in woodlands Barn despite a rather snowy time whilst there ! The cottage is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need with wonderful views over the local countryside. The owners were very helpful and fantastic at keeping in touch especially with snow updates and nothing was too much trouble . Would definitely recommend."

"Had an amazing week at Cracken Cottage for the New Year, with family. The cottage was spacious and comfortable and lovely and warm and cosy. All of the bedrooms were a great size and very well presented. The lounge was a great area for relaxing there was lots of space for everyone. The Cracken Bar downstairs was a lovely place for food/drinks and Dale and all the staff very friendly and helpful - highly recommended. "What a fantastic cottage! We spent Christmas at Shepherds Cottage and it couldn’t have been better. Extremely well equipped and very cozy. The log burning stove was the cherry on the cake. Would highly recommend for a quiet, dog friendly retreat. The hosts are lovely and very helpful."
