"We had a very nice 2 day stay. However on the last day I saw something that bothered me. Breakfast is served until 9:00 and we were there at 8:45. It was very busy and the ladies in the kitchen stood in the doorway and watched everyone like hawks which was uncomfortable !! Anyway, there were still people in the middle of getting their breakfast at 9:00 and instead of letting them finish, the kitchen help came in and started taking food out and putting it away ! I get that 9:00 is the deadline but seriously you couldn't let the people that were already there finish getting their food ?? Also this is the first hotel we've ever been to that doesn't serve breakfast until 10:00 !! Not everyone staying at the hotel is up early for work etc. some people are there to enjoy a vacation and relax and don't want to get up early. Extending breakfast for a hour would be a nice courtesy to your guests :)"
"We were just looking for a quick place to stop for the night on our journey and not have to travel too far off the interstate - but this had the added bonus of waterslides for our kids to unwind after a long day in the car for a reasonable price. Staff was friendly and check in was smooth. Pool area was OK - a bit dirty, but likely due to it being at the end of the day. Slides moved/shook a far bit when kids were going down them - the structures were not as secure as they should have been (although I did see maintenance staff working on tightening them the next morning). Room was just OK - looked a bit dated, but more concerning was that the lock on the sliding door to the pool area was broken and the secondary security bar was all but broken. Our 'neighbours' woke up at 0600 and we could hear everything that they said - not much for sound-proofing between the rooms - but they were also very inconsiderate speaking at full volume so early in the morning. Breakfast had a decent selection of options. Wouldn't necessarily be my first choice necessarily if staying in Fargo again, but could stay again if needed."
