"Lovely location, quiet and peaceful.Patricia and Pete are very friendly and helpful.Day trips to the painted hills and sheep rock are very doable from this location.Taking the back way on 207 along the McKenzie River from sheep rock was a special treat. There’s even a place to swim in the river at the park in Sharp.The drive time from the road is 20-30 minutes and useful to know if timing of a trip away matters.Thank you so much for a wonderful day and a beautiful setting."

"Property fenced all the way around so good for a pet. Very large kitchen dining area that can accommodate a small group get together. Covered back patio was the main hangout. Lawn had been mowed so corn hole was nice to have. Opened windows at night, closed during mid day heat and it stayed cool inside all day. Comfortable beds! Good water and shower very nice."

"Our room was, clean, fully equipped, and mostly well maintained. I especially liked that they supplied flyswatters. The furnishings were new, especially the bed and mattress. We put the sign requesting maid service on the outside, but when we returned six hours later, the room had not been made up. We went to the office and requested fresh towels, and they delivered them! Such nice service!"

The properties are all well taken care of and cozy and she is quick to help with any issues/questions that may arise over our long stays. "The house is truly in a beautiful area! The kitchen is very well stocked with dishes, pots and pans as well as many condiments and general supplies. Beds were super comfortable and the living arrangements and deck worked well for our family of six - 2 kids, grandparents and parents. It was a great location for exploring the John Day fossil beds. "
