Week stay

My stay was just ok. There was four flights of stairs, that I was never informed of in the site description. The shower was very small. The trash cans were to small for functional & I was never given trash key code, so dumping trash was very difficult.

Convenient location, lots of stairs

The stairs from the parking area to the unit were very high and it wasn't clear from the listing there were so many stairs. The unit was also very small, but the location and cleanliness were great. Nicely stocked kitchen was nice.

First week ever in Whistler

After 5 years in the making, we finally got our week long trip to Whistler/BlackComb.Place was nice, had everything we needed. Short walk to the Creek Gondola. Market & Dining close by.Mountain was great, temps were good, got snow Thurs & Friday. Enjoyed our stay !!

Quiet Stay at the Tree House

We had a lovely stay here—just as described. Very quiet but still close to the slopes. Creekside ski-out wasn’t yet open so you had to download on the gondola, but I’m sure that won’t last for much longer with significant snowfall. We were particularly impressed by how the owners utilized the small space (kitchen was surprisingly well stocked). There are indeed many stairs to get up to the unit, but it’s worth it :-). Pack light!

Nice place overall

Great location. Found it hard to find the unit when we arrived at night. The directions are a bit misleading/confusing. You have to walk up a 4/5 flights of outdoor stairs to get to the door. No indoor ski storage. You are better off booking this direct from itrip, as you will get charged two fees otherwise; one from vrbo and one from itrip. Unit itself lived up to the photos. Was a great location for our ski week.

Whistler weekend

Place was nice and met our needs. Not a realistic place if you’re wanting to come back from the mountain for lunch but otherwise very nice!

Convenient Location

Small but worked for my father and I as we do a father/son trip every Christmas. Initial impression was small and functional yet a bit hidden and semi-difficult to find. We didn’t mind the stairs that everyone seems to be complaining about... Upon first entering the unit there was a distinct odor and maybe this is because the unit (Building) is older, not quite sure but it wasn’t as if we couldn’t stay there because of this. After checking the place out and figuring out who was sleeping where both my father and I noticed the cleaning was sub-par and we both pitched in and cleaned all surfaces, the stove, the sink, the dishes, the bathroom, swept the floors as there was black human hair all over, ect… It was by far not cleaned properly or thoroughly. I did speak to property manager, which isn’t VRBO, and she refunded my cleaning fee and apologized offering to have the unit cleaned again. With all of our personal belongings already in place I declined the additional cleaning as we both didn’t feel comfortable with others in the unit AND we cleaned it to our standards. One shouldn't have to go through this in my opinion. With the above said the unit is cozy and very close to the Creekside gondola (3 minute walk). There is a small market and gas station within a 4 to 5 minute walk. The area is convenient and less hustle bustle from the big village. There is another unit above this unit and you may hear noise.

Pleasant experience

Online photos are a good representation of the property. We will certainly stay there again. There are 75 steps to the door from the parking. There is no dishwasher which was a small disappointment, even a small countertop unit will do the trick. Overall we enjoyed it a lot. Location is great.

Definitely a great place for people who are fit as there’s a stairs. Locations is good! The only thing was I couldn’t find the dustpan and iron board. Overall nice and cozy place to stay and very clean!

Great spot!

Great spot for a small group. The condo has everything you need and is located near Creekside gondola and village. Much quieter than the main village. Great grocery store, coffe, bread and shops within walking distance. There are a lot of steps leading to the unit.

House in the clouds

The stay was lovely but the journey to get there is no joke. Easily 4+ flights of stairs and tight walkways up to the unit from the street . We had a fair amount of luggage and equipment and it was tough. Other than that, the location was great. Easy walk to Creekside Gondola and a few good restaurants. Would have loved some “about the area” info in the unit. How close is the gondola, places to eat, markets in the area. Didn’t see anything like that.
