ABOUT THE HOME
Relax in this gorgeous 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo just steps from the slopes on the Fairmont Chateau Boulevard. The master bedroom boasts a king bed with a flat-screen TV and a full ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen bed. The warm living room has a flat-screen TV & stereo system with patio access & view of the pool and sunny or snowy courtyard. The kitchen is fully stocked with a dining room with seating for six. One window A/C unit.

COMPLEX: GLACIER LODGE
Located in Whistler's Upper Village the Glacier Lodge offers an unparalleled location at the base of Blackcomb Mountain. Enjoy the convenient ski-in, ski-out location with easy access to ski school, rental shops, restaurants, and a small grocery store across the street. In the summer enjoy the Whistler's Farmers Market right outside the lodge. The Glacier Lodge features an outdoor heated pool and two outdoor hot tubs. The Glacier Lodge is a favorite choice for couples, families, and groups.

LOCATION: Upper Village
Located at the base of Blackcomb Mountain, the Upper Village offers seclusion while still being just a short walk away from the hustle and bustle of Whistler Village. With a slopeside setting, these lodging options will have you on the slopes (or the first tee of the Chateau Whistler Golf Course) in minutes. The Upper Village is a great option for families offering easy ski-in/ski-out access and a free shuttle to and from the Village. In the summer enjoy quick access to Lost Lake Park as well as a weekly outdoor Farmers Market.

THINGS TO KNOW
- This home only has one window air conditioning unit. Portable fans are provided in each bedroom and the living area.
- Pack 'N Play & High Chairs are available for rentals by request.
- Ski-in, ski-out ability depends on the snow levels and lift operations. You can typically ski-in and out between mid - December and end of March. You can call our reservation agents a few days before your arrival to get an update on current conditions.

HOUSE RULES
No smoking, no pets, no parties, no bikes permitted inside units, minimum booking age of 25. Base occupancy is 4 adults and max occupancy is 6 adults. The fifth and the sixth adult pay C$35 per night per person. Children under 12 years old stay free of charge.

CANCELLATION POLICY
- 100% refund if you cancel at least 60 days before check-in.
- 75% refund (minus service fee) if you cancel at least 45 days before check-in.
- No refund if you cancel less than 45 days before check-in.

Conference booking
Have stayed at the Glacier 3x previously for the same conference and this time also had another co-worker stay as conveniently located across from the Fairmont where we attend an annual conference. I already provided this feedback to the group managing the unit(s) and the reason for the lowered overall rating is the usual non-working electronic key pad system especially in the side entrance to Blackcomb. After 5-6 times not working, at different times after hours, we are forced to use the front entrance which has no issues. Door code units similar but not as bad and very finicky and we had to get them reset 1 day, similar to the parking doesnt always work (and no its not me entering a wrong cide). Besides that the units are great. Could defn use some proper lounge chairs at the pool. If the door code units dint get fixed I wont be staying there again.

My family and I had a fantastic stay. The apartment was GREAT; comfortable beds, a well-appointed kitchen, nice main living space. We love the Glacier Lodge location - just a 5 minute walk from the Blackcomb Gondola (and our favorite places to apres: RMU and Handlebar). Would stay here year after year!

The unit was a good stay overall. When we arrive the unit was not running air conditioning (we were able to run it ourselves once in the unit) and the unit had a few spots / bread crumbs on the counters and table. This, to me, was nothing we, as guests, couldn't easily resolve. The location was great and the staff at the front desk were very easy to work with. Communicating with Outpost (the rental company who handles the rental on behalf of VRBO) was easy and they sent us all relevant details we needed. Overall, I would stay here again.

Blackcomb skiers paradise
The unit was clean, well stocked, and there are community hot tubs available for use after a long day on the slopes. The property had easy access ski storage and is a very short walk from the blackcomb gondola. You do have to pay for parking but it's nice to have the option available. The check-in process can be a little painful because the front desk seems to understaffed but that's hardly a reason to miss out on this hidden gem!

Great location and comfortable stay
We really enjoyed our stay at Glacier Lodge. Location is fantastic, just a short walk from the Blackcomb gondola. Our unit was comfortable and warm. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed for breakfasts and cooking dinner. It was nice to have two bathrooms both with bathtubs. The Aveda bath products were a nice little touch. It was also nice to have a bag of coffee beans and coffee filters available in the kitchen upon check- in. I agree with other reviewers that said the place is a little worn. The interior doors are thin and carpets were also quite worn. The beds and sectional sofa were comfortable and everything was very clean which were much more important. I would also agree with other reviewers that the pool area can be a little noisy at times, but generally just around "happy hour" or ares-ski time for kids. So what, everyone's on vacation! The pool was quiet by dinner time. Staff were helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay again. It is not The Chateau Whistler or The Four Seasons, but for half the price and an equivalent location and clean, comfortable stay, we highly recommend it. Great for families.

A wonderful Ski in/ski out family trip to Whistler Blackombe
We came for a bucket list trip for me, but a great time was had by all. Enough kitchen to cook if you want, and close enough to dining if you don't. The beds were comfortable and a warm soak in the tub after skiing was soothing. We loved the ski storage downstairs for both the service and fun staff. Outpost did a great job.

The house fit our family 4 very well. Lots of the space. Loved being able to walk out in the Blackcomb village from the elevator. had fun doing putt-putt right there. The lobby had a strong smell cologne smell but the actual unit did not have any smell.

Spacious cozy accommodation. Evertyhing you need in the kitchen and bedding towels etc all great. Fantastic location to skiing, restaurants etc. In the Upper Village easy walk to Whistler Village. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub with Covid restrictions I place.
