"Small B&B which is in a quiet area, but just of main routes so easy to find. There is sufficient off-street parking for guests which is a plus. Breakfast offers a good choice for all tastes and the breakfast room, at the side of the property affords sea views which adds to the pleasant feel of what is obviously a well run B&B. "A Hidden Gem in Whitby! Our experience at The Beaches was simply wonderful, largely thanks to Tamsin, a genuinely perfect hostess. The accommodations were spotlessly clean, and the location couldn't be better, perfectly situated for exploring the historic Abbey, fascinating museums, and charming pubs. "Just ten mins walk to town centre, few minute walk to north sea seaside, location is lovely. The room is clean, the bed is comfy, the shower has high water pressure which is good for after walking all day. The only one thing is kettle doesn't clean, some water left there when I check-in."

The room is by the front door, and the room above must be wooden floored as we heard a lot of footsteps/lpud thuds on the ceiling. "This is the second time at The Witching Post inn. We love the location.. easy to get to Whitby, Staithes, Robin Hood bay and Goathland. Pete and his team were great hosts and looked after us. Fantastic food, all home cooked and fresh local produce. We would highly recommend. We will definitely be back. "

"There was 7 ladies celebrating a 50th birthday, this accommodation was perfect, very clean, everything you could think of that you would need for a weekend or even if you were there longer, the accommodation was exactly like the pictures showed. Very impressed and would definitely recommend and we would definitely stay there again - perfect 10/10"
