"When we arrived the doors to both bedrooms were closed. Upon opening the door into the main bedroom there was a disgusting very strong smell. It stayed for our entire 3 night stay but not as distinct as when I first opened the door. Other than that we had a lovely stay. "Cheerful efficient staff, spotless spacious room, navy blue wall, tea, coffee and biscuits, comfortable bed, right weight of duvet, quiet, thoughtfully given rooms at far end of corridor, heard nothing though Freddie Mercury concert taking place. Loved spiral bedside lights!. 2 tiny niggles: mirror in bathroom far too high, designed for 6' man, I am under 5'!!! Basin ?blocked, water ran out very slowly Clare Blackburn room 303 22/06/24"
