"If you don’t have to stay here, don’t. The rooms are nasty, it smells like cigarette smoke very strongly even though it’s nonsmoking. Very disappointing"

"Check in was easy. Room was good size and clean. Bathroom was clean. King bed was comfy. Location is just down from the police station, which gave a presence of security. Pool was not working, and from what I can read in previous reviews and what we heard from other guests at breakfast, it’s been out of order for some time. That needs to be communicated. Breakfast: Coffee was hot. Cereal was fresh. Hot items (sausage links, eggs, potatoes) were okay. On a separate note: A couple miles from the hotel is El Charro Texano. It is absolutely delicious food and great service."

"The staff was nice and helpful. I liked where the hotel was located. I liked that it wasn’t in a crowded area but close enough to town. The beds were comfortable and I slept really well. We stayed in a room on the first floor with courtyard view, and if there are people out there hanging out, playing corn hole or the other game they have you can kind of hear them, but I had my fan to drown them out. I would stay again."

"This is the first hotel I’ve ever checked into where they didn’t ask for an ID at all. We walked into the room and there was a huge amount of hair on the corner of the bed. We also couldn’t get the tv to work. We let the front desk know the room originally didn’t have a remote. They sent one down that didn’t work so we called again. Someone came down and put some electrical tape on it and called it good. Once again it didn’t work and the front desk said they couldn’t do anything about it. Wouldn’t have been such a big deal if we didn’t have little kids that had been in the car all day from a long trip."

"The amenities were minimal…. Bring your own soap/shampoo/conditioner. There was a tiny bar of soap and a tiny tube of shampoo/conditioner. The bathroom had spiders and hair in the shower, and the shower head wasn’t attached to the wall. The fan was pulled away from the ceiling. Breakfast included…. It was a jug of apple juice and a jug of orange juice. Inside the mini fridge there was peach and strawberry yogurt as well as frozen sausage biscuits to be warmed in the microwave."
