"There was a really weird smell in the hallway outside of our room. It was in the room at first but someone brought air freshener to the room which helped a lot. The room was fine after that but the hallway continued to smell during our weekend stay. Our room was clean."

"Great place to stay for hikers who want to go to Grayson Highlands (15 min. away in Va.) or do other outdoor activities in Ashe Co. Very clean, comfortable beds, and lots of bunnies and deer in the yard. We attended the Fly Around Fest in Lansing and it was wonderful."

"We had a stellar nite at the Cabins. The mattress and bedding both were premium and extremely comfortable. We felt very cozy. We even filled up some bottles of the delicious healing water to bring home. Quiet and remote setting. Don’t hesitate to book. We will return."

"The host was very responsive to messages. They messaged us mid-morning on check-in day saying we could check in anytime which was very nice. The beds were very comfortable. We had several rain showers and the sound on the tin roof was amazing. We were somewhat surprised by the road/drive going in to the cabin. There were numerous pot holes and areas where the rain had made ruts in the drive. The drive was approximately 1/2 mile long with several other houses. When you met another vehicle, someone had to pull off the drive if possible or back up to where you could pull off. Several things in the house could have used some upgrades or a little TLC but for the price we could not complain."
