"It is important to know this is an historic 128 years old property with all the eccentricities and flavor of a time long gone. It has been beautifully preserved and was updated some year ago but it is not a modern hotel. The beds were very comfortable and the linens superb. The water pressure was the best I've felt in years giving a wonderful shower experience. And the towel sheets had me feeling pampered. We had supper at Floyd's which is conveniently on-site. Two adults shared the fried pimento balls and a sandwich wrap, both delicious and service was terrific. We had breakfast at the beautiful chinoiserie themed Rosemary & Thyme. I had a made-to-order omelet which was absolutely delicious and my coffee cup stayed full by the attention of Floyd, our delightful server. The Windsor Hotel is a wonderful historic property well worth a visit!"

"Unfortunately in the early evening the smoke detector went off but it was a false alarm. The bathroom door did not completely close. Otherwise the room was very good with a comfortable bed. The breakfast was very good."

"We enjoyed our stay at Avid, the hotel was clean, very quiet during our Thursday, Friday stay. Of course, on the weekend it was much busier and less quiet . But we were still able to get a restful night sleep. The pool area was nice and clean. We loved that the electric vehicle charging station, were accessible on the campus. The staff was friendly and always helpful. The Location was superb for us to spend grandparents weekend with our grandchildren. Please note: This hotel does not have cribs for smaller children and only allows service dogs. It was perfect for us because our grandchildren are older now and as much as we love our dogs. We have one grandchild with severe allergies, less dog hair in an immediate area equates to less flare ups and a more enjoyable trip for all. So thank you Avid in Perry,GA for a great stay!"

"We had an EXCELLENT experience at the Fairfield in Perry! The staff was the most friendliest staff I believe I have ever witnessed staying at any hotel! Typically chain hotels, they just try to make you comfortable & keep their heads down. This hotel...they went above & beyond! We never passed an employee without them speaking to us, asking how our stay was, if we needed anything, etc. I wish I had gotten her name..but there was one older lady that was so sweet & I never seen her stop! From mopping the floors in the elevator to restocking towels at the pool. She was AWESOME & needs a raise! The restaurant & bar inside the hotel is an amazing perk & add on! The food was Delicious! I wish that the hours were more accommodating like a 11am-9pm, Mon-Sun type deal but maybe one day that will be adjusted! The rooms were EXTREMELY clean! And as far as the pool....😍😍 I can't praise that enough! It was super clean and we LOVED relaxing in it! Location wise - PERFECT if you have an event going on at the fairgrounds! I just hope this place stays in tip top shape as it is in now! If they can keep the current staff on board...it defiantly will!! Great experience & we will defiantly be back for our next horse show at the Perry Fairgrounds!"

"The camper is older but the inside was really clean and kept really nice.Had a small insect problem but was addressed extremely quickly after communicating with the host! Would definitely go back if we travel that way again!!!"

"We had a few problems when getting there, due to there being a new cleaning crew and the previous tenants tearing some things up, but the owner was very quick to see to these things being addressed and she even found out that my daughter and her friend were competing in the NBHA Youth and Teen World Finals and sent them some inspiration gifts. Our stay was great, we loved the roominess of the house so we weren’t all on top of each other. I loved how the old house was renovated, we enjoyed being able to relax and cool off in the pool in the afternoon and enjoyed playing a few games of pool!"
