"This property was essentially a nice house, with a beautiful garden, however, the cleanliness on arrival was questionable. All the cups and cutlery had to be washed thoroughly before use, the cooker hob was still greasy and the fridge needed cleaning out before use. It was also dusty under the bed. "House on the surface looked ok but when you started to look around and use things we found out that a lot of things were very dirty, lots of mold in washing machine, bed linens dirty, cutlery and utensils greasy and dirty, lots of dirt in cupboards and shelves, both hovers completely full of dirt. We ended up buying our own bedding and eating utensils. we did get offerd for a cleaner to come back out but by then we had started cleaning up as we got on late. and didn’t want someone in the house...

"What a fantastic house, every window had a picture-perfect view of either the water and surrounding Isles or rolling farmland hills. Easy to walk down to the rocky beach, up along the hills or drive into town, taking in the fresh sea air. The host Polly had great communication and sent a detailed booklet on the house and activities around the area. The house was very well equipped for a large family, a home away from home. Highly recommend...we will be returning!"
