All the cups and cutlery had to be washed thoroughly before use, the cooker hob was still greasy and the fridge needed cleaning out before use. It was also dusty under the bed. "We had a lovely stay at this property in Arran. The house was perfect for our needs and within walking distance of the shops and eateries of Lamlash. The house had everything we needed and we didnt lack anything. Parking in front of the house was fine but care is needed when driving out into the main road due to poor visibility. Beds were comfy. Water was very hot. Conservatory and back garden were very relaxing. All in all a great place to stay."

"House on the surface looked ok but when you started to look around and use things we found out that a lot of things were very dirty, lots of mold in washing machine, bed linens dirty, cutlery and utensils greasy and dirty, lots of dirt in cupboards and shelves, both hovers completely full of dirt. We ended up buying our own bedding and eating utensils. we did get offerd for a cleaner to come back out but by then we had started cleaning up as we got on late. and didn’t want someone in the house...

"Pleasant accommodation - though please iron out payment details so future renters can complete payment in timely fashion. Could have done without that stress. Lovely place, but under-supplied (certainly by comparison to expectations set by VRBO rentals in the US). As we didn't rent a car, we had to walk to stores to buy certain essentials. Nice place, and friendly helpful owner

"Easy check-in, nice clean and quiet room. Unfortunately, I accidentallydamaged what I thought was the bathroom flush, and contacted Nick straight away. He told me not to worry at all, and explained that he would sort the problem out when he arrived. Fantastic owner, I would imagine that certain other people would take advantage of this and try and request extra payment. I would recommend this place, and would definitely stay here again."
