"Booked this hotel for a stop over on way home to Scotland and found a hidden gem. Set in beautiful surroundings adjacent to the canal and lovely beer garden in front of picturesque pond. The buildings and interior decor were beautiful at very reasonable room rates. Very friendly efficient staff and nice food. Couldn’t fault it for anything and will defo return. "

"My stay was good someone helped with suitcase to room 8 as no lift Girl on reception was not sure about my request for walk in shower don't think she understood what I required Room had a walk in shower. Staff were excellent other than that"

They are a dig friendly Hotel, and although we don’t dislike dogs, we asked to be moved in case we were woken by barking pets, and there was no problem at all. The rooms are clean and comfortable and we had a great nights sleep "
