Fig Tree Cottage is a stylish two bedroom house, located in the vibrant town of Whitstable. Just a 3 minute adventure away from the quirky shops, tempting cafes, restaurants and seafront pubs and a 7 minute stroll from Whitstable train station.
Downstairs in the cottage living/dining room you will find a wood burner for snuggly nights by the fire whilst enjoying a film or having a dance with the BOSE speaker playing your favourite song! The galley style kitchen has everything you need to cook a hearty meal in the evening and a coffee machine to enjoy a frothy coffee in the morning whilst sitting under the fig trees. There is WiFi throughout the house and smart TV and DVD player in the living room.
Upstairs there is a modern bathroom comprising of a bath (with overhead shower), WC & basin, a spacious double bedroom and a further bedroom with bunk beds; making it ideal for a family or a couple. Families can pack light as there is a high chair, travel cot and bed guard for young children.
The large mature cottage garden is perfect for an evening wind down and backs on to the famous Crab and Winkle way.

There is free street parking on the road and surrounding roads. The nearest paid parking is Victoria Street or Gorrell Tank car park. You can view the charges on the Canterbury City Council website. Parking can be limited in the high season but once you have parked up, you are close enough to walk into town, beach, shops etc.

There are frequent busses running from Whitstable to Herne Bay and Canterbury. You will find bus stops along Harbour Street, High Street, Oxford Street etc.
The trains from Whitstable station will take you to Ramsgate or further afield to London. Whitstable Train Station is about a 10 minute walk to the town centre.
There are also Taxi services available for short fares or airport runs. The nearest airport is in London and the Ferry port is in Dover.
