"Great apartment with views out over the sea & wonderful sunsets. Shuttle bus was a bonus as its a good 25 min walk into the main st. Would be even better if there was an extra 4 & 6pm run. Parts of the property and the pool is looking a bit tired and neglected so some repairs & maintenance is required. Also do not bother with the on-site restaurant for anything else other than breakfast. "

"This was a beautiful view, spacious rooms, and the private spa was the icing on the cake. The only downfall was that the hill is VERY steep to walk up, and as it had been raining it was VERY slippery on the pebblecrete and easy to fall. I slipped a couple of times, and my husband did also. I would suggest a little stair walkway or some other kind of material that isn’t so slippery. Or offer little golf buggies for guests to use on the property- like management do. In saying that.. we managed...

"Our stay at Palm Bay was exceptional. It is simply magical. As Canadians, we pinched ourselves to see if it was real. VERY private location. Small capacity makes it feel very VIP and exclusive. It's a very private getaway with our own 2 bedroom bungalow on the beach. Palm Bay is absolutely a vibe. "Having a kitchen and washer dryer is an expected bonus. We saved money by not having to eat out all the time and wonderful to be able to do laundry. The accommodation is standard but you get a spectacular swimming pool with million dollar view of the sea. The rooms are basic and not luxurious. The walk up the hill to Martinique makes you think twice of what you want to carry up from Woolworth’s. You do get a nice, unintended cardio workout. Overall, a great place to stay and highly recommended....

"An older motel but still with some water views. Situated just a short 5min walk from town and not uphill. 2 pools which both looked nice although too cold to try at the time. Include breakfast is only very basic continental however other option available to purchase. Did not dine in the restaurant but menu looked okay. Room was spacious and bed was comfortable. The blinds are the Venetian type and do not give any darkness once the sun is up. The shower did need a good clean with mould / scum...
