"Overall, I had a good experience at Chateau Lacombe. The property was well kept, the rooms were decent, and the staff were absolutely wonderful and very helpful.
There were a couple of things that could be improved. The parking garage felt a bit shady and could use some attention. Also, there doesn’t seem to be proper ventilation in the bathrooms. If you take a hot shower, the steam can build up enough to potentially trigger the alarm, which is definitely something to be aware of.
Aside from those issues, I didn’t have any major complaints.
If you’re looking for a place that’s mainly somewhere to stay while being conveniently located near Edmonton’s major highway network, this is a decent choice. It’s not a high-end luxury hotel or anything, but it has a decent vibe, the property is reasonably maintained, and the staff definitely add to the experience.
Overall, I would give Chateau Lacombe a 7.5/10. Nothing overly fancy, but a solid and decent place to stay if location and value are your priorities"
