Located just a block from the Arkansas River and within walking distance of some great local parks. The large backyard has several different seating areas to enjoy! Riverside is one of Wichita's most popular older neighborhoods. Located just off the Arkansas River, the neighborhood has some of the oldest houses in the area. Walk around and enjoy the beautiful architecture. You'll see charming Victorians, cute Tudors, cozy Bungalows, large Mid Centuries, and everything in between. Just 2 blocks south of the house, you'll even see a Castle! Riverside has a whimsical vibe with several great restaurants and shops, such as Riverside Cafe, Song Bird Juice Company, and Cool Breeze Pizza. Several parks and musuems are a short drive or walk away, including the Old Cowtown Museum, Botanica, the Wichita Art Museum, the Keeper of the Plains, Exploration Place, Sims Park and Riverside Park.

Guests have access to the entire space. The garage is locked and used for storage.

Riverside Cottage is a beautifully updated 3 bedroom bungalow, conveniently located just a block from the Arkansas River and minutes from downtown. Enjoy views of the neighborhood from the front porch swing. Walk into the beautiful living room with brick fireplace. Enjoy the 60" Smart TV (with Netflix, Hulu, Disney +, ESPN +) from the comfortable couches. Off of the Living Room is the front bedroom, with light and bright decor and a comfortable, queen memory foam bed. The Dining Room has a large picture window and French Doors that open onto the back porch and have a great view of the large backyard. The Master Bedroom is located just off the dining area with a King Memory Foam Bed, small sitting area, and 40" Smart TV (with streaming services). The only bathroom is located in the master bedroom. On the other side of the dining is the beautiful galley kitchen, equipped with microwave, refrigerator, stove, crock pot, blender, toaster, pots and pans, dinnerware and some basic spices. Down the stairs, past the laundry are with a full size washer and dryer, is the large 3rd bedroom. The bedroom has a large king size memory foam bed, 40" Smart TV (with streaming services), cute fireplace and 2 separate seating areas.

The outdoor space is hard to beat. Enjoy the ambience with overhead bistro lights and the outdoor blue tooth speaker. The back deck has a small seating area that overlooks the back yard. From the back deck, the back patio has a table with seating for 4 or more. Towards the back of the yard is another small area with cute landscaping. From the back of the yard, catch a glimpse of the Arkansas River.


Please NOTE: The bathroom is located in the master bedroom. The house is located on a busier street so there is some road house in the house.

The house is located just off 13th street and has easy access to grocery stores and several restaurants. It is just minutes from downtown.

Riverside Cottage is located just off a busier street. This can create some traffic noise. The master bedroom is located in the back of the house and has much less. We do have ear plugs and noise machines to help with the noise as well as black out curtains and window treatments. While in the backyard, enjoy the outdoor speaker.

The bathroom is located in the master bedroom. The only access to the bathroom is through the master bedroom.
