Especially the friendly young lady at the reception with the beautiful smile (Wednesday early evening who advised us to go downtown Deventer and enjoy the scenery with a drink at St.Tropez. "The hotel was as nice and clean and the staff were good but the breakfast was nowhere near the £20 euros I paid for it. On the first morning I couldn’t get to the restaurant because of maintenance going on near reception which meant I had to go around the hotel via some diversion notices all in Dutch so by the time I got there it was closed. The second morning I got up earlier to make sure I got there but wished I hadn’t bothered as the only thing worth eating was the bread. The bacon was cold and greasy and the tiny sausages were like bullets. Everything else was cold so i should have gone to McDonald’s."

"The Bilderberg Hotel De Keizerskroon is a very comfortable hotel with easy parking and a very helpful staff. It is in a beautiful area off the main road almost next to the entrance to Het Loo Palace. The dinner in their restaurant was very nice, as was the morning breakfast. We would stay here again."
