The chocolate chip cookies were delicious - especially warmed up a little in the microwave! The unit is in a shed-type building in the backyard of this restored historic home. It is essentially a bedroom (with a microwave, minifridge, coffeemaker and TV) and a bathroom. There is not a lot of room to move around inside the shed. "The Blueberry Cottage was amazing! The host Deanna was super kind and understanding. The house itself was sparkling clean. We had enough room to have a small luncheon (6 adults/2 children)after our grandsons baptism and room enough for us to have a family game night. It had everything we need and within walking distance to park, local grocery store, downtown and church. Plus there was outdoor seating and grill on the back porch. Our 8 day visit was perfect from start to finish with many memories...

"We adored this place so much. It was extremely clean, stocked with coffee and pans to cook, well stocked with inside and outside games. The entire property was just so pretty and quiet. Perfect for a nice family getaway that even all 3 teens loved. Played so many outside games and had a small BBQ to top it off. We will definitely be back again and recommend to anyone for a relaxing, family oriented getaway. ❤️"

"The location is amazing, the home is beautiful, well maintained, and the furnishings are comfortable. This was a wonderful place to enjoy the eclipse - the nearby town provided the food (both groceries and restaurants) and the nearby lake provided a great vantage point to view the event. Walking through the woods made this a peaceful and comfortable stay. The hosts made sure we had everything we needed and made suggestions on where to go out to eat."
