"We had a wonderful time and would happily stay there again - thoroughly recommend. Very close to a really nice beach where you can snorkel and see turtles for free. The best time is in the morning, when the fish are feeding and before there’s many other people out there. The only downside of the location is that there are a lot of roosters who are very confused about what time it is. Sometimes they play call and response and then sometimes they form a chorus. You get used to it. The villa is bigger than the photos show and it is a good amount of room. It’s very comfortable and ideal for the kind of holiday where you move between eating and swimming and sleeping. Great for families of all ages (you’d need to watch small children with the pool, though). We also love Timmy the dog, who is so gentle that my dog-phobic teenager even enjoyed him. The apartments are changing ownership shortly but the new owners seem really nice too. You should totally stay here."

"My wife and myself Stayed for 9 days and had the most relaxing time imaginable. Very beautiful grounds The villa was very charming Loved JJs Resort Fell in love with Raratonga lad back pace , miss the cockeral morning alarm call a little reminder your in paradise 🌞 Unfortunately didn't get to see the hosts " But we will hopefully see them next time . "A great place for a family holiday with all you need. Restaurant was top notch for breakfast with something for everyone. Beachside room was basic for the price but quiet most of the time. Beach next door was a better option for us as a busy time of year in August and hotel beachfront very busy with families. Enjoyed the cocktail hour and nibbles. Bus comes into the entrance of hotel every 30 minutes, which is great and no car needed but $5 for each trip so for a family car hire may be more economical."

"This truly was a home away from home. The location was excellent, beach access is straight across the road, convenience store and bus stop are a 2 min. walk away, and the house is located away from prevailing winds. The lush, private, expansive yard, added to the paradise vibe. Everything we needed was there, right down to a beach bag and beach blanket, plenty of beach and bath towels and full laundry facilities.We highly recommend this property and would love to stay again!"
