"Filters in air conditioning units need to be cleaned out. Very clogged up. Some confusion about how often they clean the room. The sign said they clean every three days, but they never did. When I notified the front desk, they said I still had to request a cleaning. That was not clear on the notice."

"Disappointed in this Hilton. Staff was not very friendly on several occasions. Only 1-2 elevators were working... a 10 min wait every-time we wanted to use them. And false fire alarm went off TWICE in one night at 2am and 2:30am. Location was excellent though."

"Our stay at Tommie Austin was exceptional! The hotel itself had a really cool vibe, was clean, and the staff were very hospitable. This boutique hotel was one block from 6th street and in walking distance (few miles) to SoCo and the Congress Ave. Bridge for bat watching, kayaking or the ferry. There were also a variety of dining options at the hotel and nearby. For my husband and I, Tommy Austin was the perfect hotel and in the perfect spot for the things we wanted to do. "

"The hotel is under maintenance construction. The rooms are very small. Hardly room for a bed, table and chair. The staff was great. The 8th floor bar was dismal. Outside balcony was closed. Bar could not make a gin & Tonic. No Tonic. Location is good. "

"The staff was very nice. There is a $25 credit when getting the room. So it’s prefect for a little snack or coffee in the am. The rooms are really nice, and the lady at the front desk was amazed at the price I got for my room through Hotels.com. They take you to the elevator and explain how to use it. There are plenty of things in the hotel to do drink or eat. There is also a few awesome restaurants close by."
