"Was a hassle walking through the maze to check-I which involved multiple elevator banks and winding hallways. Decor was dated; staff was friendly but would not stay here again. The additional deposit of $100 that was not mentioned on Expedia which was taken out of my account and not refunded for 5 business days was a joke. "

"Warning: there is no free parking garage or space. You have to pay $65 or more for valet daily. The other option is to park your car on the streets which are very limited and infested with homeless. Most of the valet staff is nice but one guy was rude and condescending and visibly annoyed answering questions. There is a good restaurant and a Starbucks on site but I don’t think anything is complimentary. Be aware that there is very heavy construction going on right next door for the new convention center. Traffic and getting around is a mess. It’s supposed to be going on for the next 3-4 years. We paid a decent amount more for a suite but when we got in the room I thought they had given us just a normal room. Really not sure what I even paid more for. Overall, very very pricy with a lot of extra unexpected fees like the valet and not much to show for the higher prices. I will say that the location is fairly decent in terms of being walking distance to a lot of stuff but honestly wish we stayed elsewhere."

"Valet service was impressively attentive. Robia at the front desk was incredibly welcoming, attentive and helpful no matter how many questions asked. The Regal-less Gin Lavender Lemon Drop at the hotel bar was perfect. As was the bartender and it's vintage charm creating an effortless elegant escape. Our room was equally charming, spotless and surprisingly quiet considering it was a block from Sixth street. We walked to an 8pm show at the Paramount Theater around the corner which was spectacular then a 10:15pm reservation for delicious Caribbean cuisine at Canje. Our next visit will allow time to enjoy the pool, hot tub, patio and Roaring Fork."
