"Adler Hotel was an amazing hotel. The rooms have a wall of windows to show off the mountain views. The downtown area is a bit rundown. I wouldn't feel comfortable in the area after dark. I highly recommend the hotel restaurant for both dinner and breakfast. "

"First and foremost I want to talk about the staff of this hotel… they are super friendly, professional and sincere. This also includes the bar upstairs… great barman and waiters in the evening. Hotel it self is located in a central area with easy walking access to restaurants coffee sightseeing and hiking. Place is super clean, and the rooms are interesting but it’s in a historic building so you have to take it for what it is. I would recommend booking a place with balcony for some outdoor space. "Beautiful older hotel- very well kept. Great view of the mountains from our balcony. Sat there relaxing enjoying a beer! Staff and breakfast were wonderful. Close walk to train station and Zugspitze Bahn. Has a pool sauna and steam room but we just stayed 2 nights so no time to use them but they looked excellent. We plan to come back next year and stay longer. We highly recommend Wittelsbacher Hof"
