Beautiful, peaceful property and super cute vintage furniture/decor that me and my princess-loving 5 year old both enjoyed Very friendly and sweet host family! Only a 20 minute (very scenic!) drive into Chatanooga so it was the perfect place for some peace and quiet but still conveniently located near everything we had planned for our trip!

We came for the bass master kayak classic on nickajack lake. With myself, my husband and our two kids. This home was the perfect distance. Close enough to the lake, far enough from the chaos. PLUS a private fishing pond and the sweetest host family. Beautiful quiet home, that we look forward to coming back too!

While the property was beautiful, i cannot say my comfort met the same standards. There was no queen size beds. It was a full size and a day bed. The mattress and pillows we laid on were hard as a rock. So was the couch and its pillows. The bathroom behind the kitchen had no way to fully inclose for privacy. Anyone walking down the hallway could literally walk into the bathroom with you. Things also felt hidden.. The dish soap underneath the sink not next to it, there was no papertowels. Maybe it was our lack of sight but we didnt find the trash can in the laundry room until our last day. We used grocery bags instead. Half the lamps didnt have bulbs in them when we went to turn them on. Also a warning about the train so close to the property would have been nice.

This property was disappointing. Very dirty when we arrived with many things broken. Previous people that stayed there trash was still outside when we got there. Muddy footprints, muddy handprints, dishes left in sink, bathroom sinks and showers not clean, dirty towels in washing machine, almost every piece of upholstered furniture was dirty, mattresses were disgusting and some were not even covered with sheets, food left in freezer. Most if the furniture was broken, cabinet doors not opening correctly or taped shut, nail exposed from many walls, holes in walls, blinds either missing or broken too much to cover the window. I emailed the owner to express my concerns after the trip and was given a basic message that said they were sorry and good luck in the future. In fairness, evolve did refund some money but it was basically just the cleaning fee.
