Check in was quick because only minimal information was given: room number, restaurant location and elevators. All other information needed to be asked for. A large sticker on the mirror states: “Dial 9” for additional supplies. That does not work. Front counter staff did not know about this at all. The website for room service ordering is painfully incomplete. No information on many food items. And how can I order the ‘soup of the day’ if I can’t find what kind of soup is available that day… We would not book this hotel again. "

"I like this place, overall the staff were so nice. Unfortunately my husband and I never felt safe we blocked the door with our luggages on the very first day, due to maybe poor communication with the front staff and housekeeping but one guy opened the door on our very first day, he knocked once and opened it. The guy doesn’t seem housekeeping as he was wearing casual clothes eventhough there’s already a DO NOT DISTURB SIGN OUTSIDE THE DOOR. I dont know how Hotels work in Amsterdam but I woke up again while we were sleeping cause housekeeping opened the door, bringing us towels. (Luggages already blocking the door every night) I notify the front desk person about it that same day, which he apologized. Though the place was really nice, the experience was a bit disappointing. "
