"Excellent property. Part of the great outdoors . In the middle of a Kiwi sanctuary and we heard them at night !! The resident rooster provided great entertainment ! The house is really well appointed with all facilities . Lovely grounds .The kitchen and toilets are great . The bedrooms are awesome . We had a lovely time experience . Away from the world and in very peaceful location along a river . We would love to visit again . Very adequate for us and we were a group of 6 people . "

"We had a wonderful 1-night stay at the Franz Joseph Oasis. Everything from our check in when we arrived to cleanliness of the room and staff responsiveness to our every question was wonderful. The young lady at the front desk is wonderful and took care of us with a smile. A must consider hotel if you are visiting Franz Joseph."

"Location was great, facilities all you could wish for. I had to clean the shower trap on the first morning, not a big deal for me, however some may have been inconvenienced. The ranch slider to the living room area is a bit tricky to lock / unlock, perhaps the striker plate could be adjusted.I would definitely stay again."

"Clean room and great location, right next to groceries store and restaurants and adventure activities shops. They also have a big common kitchen where you can store and cook your own food. We booked a family private room but basically it's a hostel"

"The room was perfect. Everything was clean with eco friendly products. Well stocked kitchen,with everything you need. Comfortable furniture and bed. Plus a view of the snow peaks mountains that you can’t beat. Hostess was wonderful :)"
