The air conditioning didn’t work in the room, they never once offered to change our room, the front desk never answers the phones, our toilet kept stopping up, and they barely brought towels we had to keep asking or catch the housekeeper in the hallway. It was no food to eat for one hour, I didn’t like because you either was hungry or had to mandatory buy expensive snacks out the gift shop.

Pros: Entertainment 10 out of 10. Excellent nightly entertainment. Friendly entertainment staff. Beach 10 out of 10. Great. Clean beach with snorkeling right of the beach. No boat traffic, very tranquil. Drinks were excellent. Bar staff were amazing. Will make you anything you want. Cons: House keeping was not very good. We had to hunt them down to clean our room. After placing multiple calls to front desk noone showed up for 3 days. Food was just OK. Not a lot of selection in the evenings. Beeakfast was amazing, lunch was the same everyday. Restaurants were hit or miss. Overall it was a nice stay.

Our stay a Dreams Curacoa was FANTASTIC! The staff were friendly and helpful. It wasn’t ridiculously crowded and the food was GREAT!! It’s not often that I enjoy all my meals at an all inclusive but the flavor and taste of everything we ate was DELISH. The only thing that would make this resort better is nightly entertainment and if the bar was actually IN the pool. I didn’t like having to get out of the pool every time I wanted a beverage refill. Otherwise, we had a wonderful experience.

Enjoyed our stay at the Dreams Curacao/ IL Mare Resort. The butler service at the Il Mare was excellent. Credits to Fernando, Shakiel, Gio, and the room service attendee - Andre, for making our stay a positive and memorable one! The upkeep/Maintenance of our bungalow though was not perfect, was comfortable and suited well enough- was told the IL Mare was only over a year old though our bungalow showed the interior wall paper needed to be replaced and the patio lighting was not working - and yet maintenance did not address the issue even after our 3 requests. We still enjoyed our nightly relaxation mode when utilizing the patio without its intended lighting. The cleanliness and turn-down service from our house keeper, Jennifer, was excellent and always showed perfect timing for our needs. Our check-in service and process was great as well as the check-out process- Though the front end attendant via our check-out at IL Mare was not friendly nor attentive as expected. The food was good throughout the Dreams / IL Mare resort though the menu did not change much during our 4 day stay. The spa services was impeccable! My husband was so relaxed he ended up falling asleep during our couples massage! Massages was a bit pricey but all well worth it! Would highly recommend the spa services! Would definitely recommend staying at both the Dreams Resort and Il Mare Resort though to keep a open mind as not all associates are as friendly or as attentive as others may be.

You experience a nightmare while they try to sell you a dream. Don’t be fooled by the pictures of the rooms. My room was in terrible condition — there were roaches, no outlets for charging old furniture, balcony chipped paint, the bathroom ceiling was covered in mold with no ventilation, the vanity was broken with cracked surfaces, and the caulking around the tub was poorly done. The room desperately needs renovation. On top of that, the AC sounded like a lawn mower running nonstop. The buffet was also unacceptable. Birds were everywhere, including standing on the bread and snatching food, with bird droppings around the dining area. It was completely unsanitary. The seafood restaurant had water bugs, and there were cats roaming throughout the resort. The entire place felt more like a zoo than a luxury resort. The beach area was very small — only about 12 people could comfortably fit in the sand and water at one time. Even the spa was disappointing. The waiting area chairs were dirty, the robes were old and torn, and again, there were no slippers provided. Overall, this resort was extremely disappointing and nowhere near the luxury experience advertised.

Rooms are horrible tubs are chipping and I had the preferred club which means top shelf drinks . First let me start off saying the food was nasty as hell, in the morning for breakfast & lunch can’t enjoy your food. There are flies everywhere & birds disgusting . When you get up to get a drink you have to cover the plate with napkins. I wouldn’t recommend coming here at all . Food on the beach horrible frozen hamburger patties Frozen chicken wings .staff at the hotel definitely favor Caucasians . I can write a book on this Hotel in just a short stay . RIDICULOUS
