"This is a unique and special place to stay. We are here with two children, it's a beautifully designed room with a double sink, 2 queen beds, a large shower. They even gave the kids smores kits when we checked in! There are views of the ocean and it's quiet. If you don't bring your own food you'll want to head to downtown Mendocino for meals, which is close by."

"My fiancée and I adored this property! Its just 5 minutes or so from town, quite and tranquil. Rennie and Hope were lovely, provided us with filtered water, coffee/tea and had an ADORABLE microwave/mini fridge set up. Mosquitoes are totally normal but also suck. We had bug repellent and there was a repellent coil on the back porch so it didnt bug us much. 10/10 will absolutely return! Thank you so so much!"

"VRBO showcased the home and land accurately. The view was outstanding and home area was very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the deck with patio and fire pit overlooking the ocean bluff. The kitchenette was perfect for us since we went to our favorite restaurants in the area. Our 2 dogs loved the grassy area in front of home. Perfect rusty retreat!"

"Jade’s tower surpassed my expectations. It’s perfection. I am so appreciative of the owners sharing this special place with me and my teenage son. The location was better than expected, 1-2 blocks to restaurants and shops. The views are magical. The place has exactly the right amount of furniture to relax and not feel crowded. The kitchen has everything. I literally have no complaints. We rented bikes, went canoeing, fishing, and hiking all within walking distance."

"Stay here if you are fans of amazing ocean views and sunsets. We are, and we were rewarded with phenomenal ones. The house is well stocked with comfortable furniture, beds, good showers and good WiFi. Lots of good seating areas inside and out. Excellent hot tub. Not as close to Mendocino as I’d hoped-around 30 minutes of winding, but gorgeous coastal road. Not much in Elk, esp during the week. Seamus is a great host who made everything easy for us."

"The views were fantastic! Just a couple things for future patrons. Bring coffee grounds, there was a coffee maker and filters but no coffee. Also bring your own spices or cooking spray.. for cooking meals. We borrowed a small ice chest for day excursions so that was nice. The views and location was worth every penny!
