"My husband and I stayed for a weekend visiting Athens. The apartment was immaculate, the bed was so comfortable, the shower pressure was strong and hot, and the towels are nicer than the ones I have at home! Upon arrival, I noticed one of the light bulbs had burned out and texted Brian asking if there were any extra bulbs in the apartment. He said there were not, but he could run one by that night. I told him we were fine and not to worry about it. While we were at dinner, he text me a picture...

"My college-aged children and I stayed over a baseball weekend. This condo is well-appointed, and was extremely clean. The neighborhood was very quiet, during both the day and the night. Plenty of parking, and the neighbors are friendly. The complex is quite dark at night, so be prepared with some type of flashlight (the one on your phone is fine). Communication with the owner was seamless, as was the check-in/check-out process. Uber rides to downtown or campus are inexpensive. Akademia Brewery...

"We always go to a basketball game for my father's birthday. This year's trip was a two-fold blessing because he has family in Athens! He was able to see his last living aunt and some of his cousins he had not seen in over 30 years. Moreover, our host provided 2 additional tickets and a parking pass for the game! The place suited our needs and we will definitely consider staying here on return trips."

"Nice enough place for short term stay. Didn’t like that it was on the second floor but that was my fault for not looking thoroughly at the description. Also would have preferred that not so much living room space was taken up by a foosball table. Otherwise, everything was clean and neat and the beds were comfortable."

"In town for a volleyball tournament. The unit was close to event center and an easy travel. The unit was very spacious and had everything we needed to cook at home and relax after a long day. I may be a Volunteer fan, but I could definitely appreciate all Bulldog memorabilia. Thank s again!"

"The home is amazing and it was such a great place to bring a large group. As other reviews have said, it could use some updates, but we thoroughly enjoyed the place and will comeback next year! The property is not in Buford and it was listed as such. It is in Gainesville on the backside of the lake. Hopefully VRBO corrects this. The owner was great to work with."

"Had a few small issues that were qmcommunicated with the property manager on our arrival. They were not able to correct the issues before my stay ended but it was a minor inconvenience and the property manager communicated that they could not fix the problem quickly. To me, communication was handled so promptly that it didn't matter. Besides the lake, the views each morning, and the cleanliness of the overall property made a great week to come home each night after working in the area all day....
