"The house was absolutely beautiful. The decorator did a phenomenal job with a peaceful vibe to the house. Rooms were large and the private bathroom for every guestroom was a really nice plus. The location at the point could not be beat with incredible views from the balconies and top (main) living space. The kitchen was well stocked with lots of space to cook and gather also some basic amenities to get you started. We spent all our time cooking, hanging out on the dock, or in the water. The beach space is really for getting in and out of the water - there is not a lot of room, enough to setup a couple of chairs but we found the dock easier and breezier. The kayaks looked brand new and were easy to carry. Hot tub was also in great shape. Everything about the house felt brand new. The host was very responsive anytime we reached out, great communication. Check-in was a breeze with an access code and the check-out process was just as simple. Loved our stay and plan to go back. This would be a great getaway anytime of the year to unplug. One tip: Bring some travel/beach chairs to set on the deck or dock. We had 8 adults."

"Received the doorcode a couple days in advance with description on how to use.owner checked in with us to make sure everything was good.Upstairs is a renovated 1890s schoolhouse!Well appointed house with comfy beds and ample communal spaces. Loved the combined kitched/dining room in the upstairs , with the outside seating balcony. Decor was fun and beachy. Nice screened porches both upstairs and down.Living room was very big and homey. Included wood stove ( we didn't use it, but wood was available)All amenities were provided and well maintained. We had many meals prepared there- even had a great choice of spices!We found the beach down the road at the windmill point marina- small but pretty, and fun clubhouse there with food and drinks!Close to some mall towns with fun shops and good food!Will definitely be back again!"

"From start to finish, Cheri made this an easy process. She is very helpful and responds quickly. What you see is what you get. The listing is 100% accurate. The cottage is quaint and cozy. Cheri is very organized and had everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed catching crabs, fishing from the beach, kayaking and mastering the paddle board. We took a charter out on the Chesapeake bay to catch Spanish Mackerel. The neighbor to the left was outside once and was very friendly. Otherwise, we really didn't see many people. There are stores and quaint restaurants near by. I could not have been happier. If you are looking for a place to relax, this cottage is for you. "

"The property was clean, the staff friendly. Courtesy breakfast was tasty, but ran out of eggs around 9 am, when breakfast was served until 9:30. However, it was the weekend, so perhaps more people. "

"I would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway! The hosts were just lovely! They were very informative and helpful all around!Check in was super easy! Fully stocked pantry and amenities! Kitchen was quaint and perfect for all cooking needs! I would go again! It was a wonderful time! Close to lots of great beaches! Great learning opportunities bc of all its museums and historical sites! 10/10! Spend some time relaxing in VA at Kimary Cove! "

"This cottage was the perfect little getaway, very cozy and intimate with everything you could possibly need for a weekend away from the world. The beach was beautiful with great sand and nice water, and the kayaks were a treat to use. The house was equipped with everything we could have needed and more. Would love to come back!"
