"This home exceeded our expectations in every way. It’s even more beautiful and inviting than the photos suggest, immaculate, cozy, and well-appointed throughout. The large yard was a highlight, and we loved the hot tub.One practical heads-up for future guests: if you’re visiting during rainy season and have paid to heat the pool, check for water accumulation on the cover before attempting to open it. The weight of rainfall can cause the cover to get stuck, which unfortunately kept us from using the pool during our stay.That minor hiccup aside, the location is unbeatable a quick trip to town makes everything incredibly convenient. A wonderful spot for a small family getaway. We’d happily come back!"

"Roy at the reception desk greeted us & was very patient with me (I'm old & was tired from the travel). He smiled a lot & was very helpful. The room was neat and clean. I LOVED the bed and slept very well. Breakfast the next morning was pleasant. There was a buffet, but Jovani the cook made fresh eggs & potatoes for us. Again, everything was nice 7 clean."

"This home has beautiful forested hill views and is light filled, in an area that feels quiet and almost rural, yet is only a 10-minute drive from the most popular areas of Healdsburg. The owner and property manager were very good communicators and very eager to help us have an enjoyable stay--much appreciated. Very clean and well-organized. Great for bird viewing! Please be aware of a few things that are not obvious from the photos: 1) the primary bedroom on the top level has no bathroom, and the closest bathroom is down two flights of steep stairs, 2) the outside deck with a beautiful view of the hills has no access from the living/dining room area, but only downstairs, walking through the two small bedrooms on the lowest floor of the home, and the large deck that is accessible from the main level has no view, 3) the river bank is a ten-minute uphill/downhill walk away, and is a large rough rock area with no sand and no shade, and 4) Sonoma County's short-term rental regulations mean that it is not allowed to have any friends visit, even for a glass of wine or a small dinner party, unless they are paid renters. In all other aspects, the home was as pictured and good, the owner and manager were wonderful, and Healdsburg is delightful and accessible."
