It is a very quaint town. The weather was not the best while we visited in March but the street that Kin & Cravin's Candy Emporium is located on is nice & faced a green space/park. It was sad to see some other places vacant. Stay here for good rates

There is a local diner called Skillets Cafe which is fabulous! There is also a local pizza joint called Pizzaleah that I wish had a location near my home because they have great pizza and the garlic knots are too die for.

Nice town (I have a business here, but live out of town). Very nice town green area with some good dining options. Overall, Windsor is not the food mecca that nearby wine country towns are.

Windsor is "the heart" of the Sonoma wine country (in a way) though you'll have to make a short drive out of town to visit the nice wineries.
