"Be ware that a “preferred room” means a room pets can stay in, not a better room! Hallways smelled of itine on side of hotel where pets are allowed. No elevator so mugging suitcases and skis up stairs was trying. Room size large.staff. Staff we dealt with was lovely! "

"It’s an absolutely incredible home and we really loved our stay. It’s close to Stratton mountain and very easy to get to, which made everything convenient. The views are amazing and the whole place has a very relaxing feel. You can tell a lot of thought and attention to detail went into the home. The kitchen is amazing and made it really enjoyable to cook and spend time together, and we loved the Sonos sound system throughout the house and the hot tub & pool table. Everything felt very clean, upscale, comfortable, and well set up for a great stay. Karen was a fantastic host, very attentive and easy to communicate with. We’re already planning to come back and stay again next year."

"The Management company for the property was untimely in responses and proactively addressing problems. We had some issues that were very frustrating. The Friday we drove up there was a predicted snow storm of 9-11 inches. The property has a driveway sloping downward away from the road. There was am empty bucket of ice melt, (totally useless), they did not arrange for plowing and it took over 3 hours to respond to our call to their emergency number. It affected negatively our ski weekend. The house was not properly cleaned, fireplace full of ashes from prior use, and cheerios were under the master bedroom bed, TV not working properly in Master bedroom.I formally wrote to the management company and their response was " I’m genuinely sorry that your family didn’t get the enjoyment and value you were hoping for. Your comments have helped us make improvements for future guests...I apologize for the frustration this caused during your stay. While I’m unable to offer a credit, please know that your feedback is valued and has been instrumental in helping us enhance the guest experience for the future."MY SUGGESTION IS NOT TO RENT A PROPERTY MANAGED BY REYNOLDS MANAGEMENT (STRATTON MOUNTAIN)."

"The house itself was wonderful and easy to access. Communication with Vacasa, the host, was ineffective or nonexistent. I contacted the host in advance with questions, both answers were incorrect. I communicated before we left with the host, and there was no response.Other than the communication issues, the house was very clean, spacious and enjoyable."

"This was a perfect home in a spot on location for skiing! The condo was warm and inviting. It had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The bathrooms were beautiful! And the host was extremely responsive! Will stay here again! Thank you!!"

"The primary issues were cleanliness, maintenance, and safety.The home was not clean upon arrival (visible crumbs and dirty floors). Throughout the stay, there were multiple unresolved maintenance issues: no trash bags or dishwasher detergent provided, several lightbulbs out (including in the master), two basement bedrooms without working lights, broken lamp hardware, partially functioning outlets, a microwave handle that has been broken for years per prior reviews, and a freezer that leaks nightly and creates a puddle on the kitchen floor.There were also safety concerns, particularly for families with young children: no railings on the stairs, a detached bunk bed ladder, an extremely high top bunk without adequate guarding, and the recurring water leak creating a slip hazard.The host responds quickly to messages, but most issues were not resolved during our stay."

"The host Casey is very responsive which we truly appreciated, but "An Oasis", this is not. The house is worn and the bathrooms were not cleaned to the level they should have been. Casey offered to have the cleaning service return, but with a house full of kids, we didn't want the disruption. The master bedroom tv on the top floor didn't work, which we didn't realize until our first evening, so we were without a tv the first night. However Casey had it replaced the next morning which we appreciated. The coffee maker didn't work, and the fireplace flue didn't function properly, so we quickly had to douse our beautiful fire with water to put it out, as smoke started entering the house - we couldn't enjoy a fire. And the firepit area outside wasn't shoveled so that area could not be used. I just think owners should check that everything works in their home before new renters arrive. Hopefully all these items will be fixed/replaced before the next set of renters arrive. The location of the home is perfect! Truly only a 5 minute drive to Stratton Mountain. And again, Casey was very responsive which was great."
