"We were caught in the Thanksgiving snow storm and our flights were canceled for two days. Hampton Inn is super close to the DesMoines airport and has a shuttle so we chose this hotel. All of staff are extremely kind and accommodating and it feels like a family owned hotel. They made our inconvenient 2 days of being snowed in warm and comfortable."

"Room was clean but smoke alarm was hanging from the ceiling so check your rooms for maintenance. Staff was very friendly and helpful at desk. Housekeeping did knock and try to enter our room before I could answer the door at 10am, an hour before checkout, so educate them to let us answer. It takes 15 seconds, not 3. A do not disturb sign would have helped. Otherwise it's a nice place."
