"It's a service station hotel and pretty much delivers on that stereotype. A clean bed, clean shower, but the rooms are dated and there are very few amenities."

"Friendly welcome, check-in desk in an awkward place, feel like your in the way of the bar staff or customers queuing the bar. Causing an obstruction with suitcases for someone wherever you stand. Room spacious and clean, plenty of tea, cofee milk etc provided. Had dinner, which was good and even had a go at the quiz! Breakfast the following morning was ok. There seemed to be some sort of staff meeting going on at one part of the dining room, and so there wasnt much instruction on what to do with regards helping yourself to tea or coffee etc, or care taken to provide much of a service, ordered at the bar, i had an omelette and it tasted a bit burnt in places. Server looked like she was the only one working and hence why maybe she didnt look happy to be there, but she wasnt rude at least. "

"A lovely hotel, lovely room and excellent pool / spa. A little out of town, but spot on for a night away without the kids!"

"Disappointed there was no full service spa as in the hotels description. This is the reason why we booked this hotel. Hotel staff were nice. Gym was ok although the treadmill base I used had a layer of engrained sticky dust / gunk on it, as well as over the floor corners and window sills. Pool was ok."
