Bed....no Breakfast

The property was very clean, as was the room. The bed was comfortable. It was very quiet. As far as bed-and-breakfasts go, the amenities and accommodations were rather basic and underwhelming. Having stayed at many bed and breakfast, this one lacked the panache one comes to expect. Still, it was accommodating. My issue is that there was a bed, but no breakfast. One half of the equation was missing. Instead of a breakfast, there were pre-packaged items like Pop-Tarts and raisins, the type of Continental breakfast provided at cheap motels. The reason given for no breakfast being made available was the current pandemic. While I'm understanding of the pandemic, I have recently stayed at other bed and breakfasts in the area, dined at restaurants and had no problem being served the obligatory breakfast. It's fine if one chooses not to serve a breakfast during this current state, but they should be obligated to tell you in advance of booking or staying, as the premium you pay for your room per night is predicated on being served exquisite breakfast. We paid full price but only received half the bargain.

It was absolutely wonderful. Right when you walk in they show you around, offer snacks and water, and tell you to feel at home. We stayed in Gracie’s garden room and it was so clean and cozy. We will definitely be returning. It’s a great place for a weekend get away being RIGHT next to downtown wis dells.

What a wonderful place for a couple or small family. Conveniently placed to be anywhere in the Wi Dells in less than 15 minutes. Recommending to all my friends and family, and people we don't know. We will be back to this place again in the future.

We found heaven in Wisconsin!

Well for starters this was our first time trying a Bed & Breakfast and it was absolutely amazing. The hospitality made us feel like we were at home and with family. Our host Shane was an absolute buttercup of a sweetheart. From the second we arrived he naturally treated us with so much hospitality and with the utmost concern for our comfort. He checked with our schedule to make sure the bonfire was lit when we arrived back home. (did I just call it home lol) Snacks and beverages were always stocked. The beds and rooms were so comfy. There were so many little things I didn't mention but he was always accommodating our stay. He greeted us with a handshake and we left giving hugs. Definitely our go to spot when visiting the Dells or just to get away. Thanks again Shane for everything!

Quiet, clean and very accommodating. We stayed an extra night. I slept so well on the bed. The shower can be a little tricky as you have to straddle the whirlpool tub to get in. Otherwise a perfect getaway and close to Dells activities and restaurants.

Very clean and quiet. We enjoyed are stay and morning coffee and conversations with Russ and Laurie. Laurie's breakfast was excellent. would recommend this place to anybody staying in or near the Dells.

Excellent breakfast, uncomfortable bed

The breakfast was delicious. The proprietors were helpful. The bed was very uncomfortable. The B&B was very convenient to town, but next to a strip club and across from a sports complex. Neither the strip club nor the sports complex actively bothered me, but neither made for pretty scenery.

Amazing stay, close to downtown!

We had a fantastic stay at bowman?s Oak hill. The room was very nice and the location great for getting around the dells. Our favorite part was the breakfast it was delicious and homemade! The couple that run the B and B are very accommodating and friendly making the experience very enjoyable. You won?t regret going here instead of a hotel!

B and B off the main business district in the Dell

Secluded property with private cabin with every detail down to an ice scraper hanging in the parking area! Beautiful. Wasn’t able to stay for breakfast, but i’ll Be back to try that another time
