Great place to stay with large family

Enjoyed our family time in this spacious cabin. This is our second time staying here. The pool, bar and restaurant at the clubhouse is really nice also. Will be making this a yearly getaway

The rustic retreat was lovely -just like pictures. We were not crowed and the game room was a great bonus! Beds were all very comfortable n decor was lovely. Our family ranged from 76 to 3 years and this place was perfect.

Family Vacation

Well maintained and equipped for our party of 13. Lower level was a great place to hang out at night after our campfire. Within walking distance to the pool and restaurant. Just far enough outside of the Dell’s to maintain privacy and still have access to the water parks Would love to come back again.

College reunion

Eight of us women from all over the country gathered to enjoy time with each other as well as some hiking + dining. The house allowed 6 of us to have private rooms and 2 shared the “triple” that was equipped with 3 beds. Our gas fireplace did not light on our first night and the cordial Tech was over in 10 minutes to fix the pilot light! Loved the long dining table. Everything was very clean. Beds were in good shape. Kitchen was equipped and directions provided on what to bring. Close to areas we wanted to visit. Let us in to access the property a little early on our travel day; very helpful.

Family Reunion

We enjoyed our stay! We had one family upstairs, one family downstairs and my husband and I were on the main floor. The kitchen was well equipped and we grilled each night. The table with 14 chairs fit our family exactly and it was so nice to all be together at meal times. The living room was comfortable for our family devotions and time of sharing. We had a campfire around the fire pit at night. There was a lot to see and do around the area!!

Our stay cut short

There was water coming in the basement level. The property manager was very professional and dealt with everything in what we felt was a fair way. We were credited with the one night’s stay and were able to find another place to stay since it was supposed to be rainy for most of our planned stay.

Large, spacious home

We were very pleased with the accommodations. Beds were very comfortable, linens appeared new and fresh, and kitchen well equipped. One suggestion I would make would be to add a second couch or some comfy chairs to the family room area. For a home that sleeps so many there isn't much seating around the fireplace. While there is ample seating at the dining table we all wanted to relax by the fire after dinner but there was limited seating to accommodate our group of 8 adults. We made do by pulling dining chairs around the fireplace. Otherwise comfy and spacious.

Big and clean

This house was big enough for our large group ranging from 3-75 yrs old..plenty of sleeping options and bathrooms, kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of towels. There were also 2 fridges and plenty of seating in and out. Everyone enjoyed the downstairs pool table and hang out area as well as the deck. The house is close to the clubhouse so that was nice too. The pool was large and the kids loved it! It’s also a quick ride over to the dells action. Would recommend to a friend. Only negative with house was the grill, it’s like one of those little park grills. :/

Pretty but Problems

First, the house is pretty, spacious and has a great, open-concept floor plan. However, on the first morning of our stay, my niece, who was staying in the master suite, took a shower. She observed a sign on the wall stating not to use the wall jets. When she turned on the main shower head, a VERY loud, high-pitched noise sounded. The people who had been asleep in the basement bedrooms were awakened by the noise, and said it sounded like a train was going by. This noise continued throughout her shower. Her husband, a plumber, stated he believed a new diverter was needed between the shower head and jets, which would require opening up the wall for repairs. To alleviate the sound / pressure, they had to leave the sink faucet running while showering. The sign on the wall indicated that the homeowner was aware of the problem, but chose to rent the house without making necessary repairs. When we reported the problem to the Resort staff, they truly appeared concerned and sympathetic, but explained that repairs of that nature were the responsibility of the home owner. Additionally, the family members who slept in the three basement bedrooms all opted to take their showers in one of the upstairs bathrooms because the water in the basement bathroom never got above luke warm. The Springbrook Resort itself is in a great location; close to many fun attractions, and fairly close to the Dane County Airport. The Resort has a very nice Clubhouse and Golf Course. The staff was pleasant and professional. In the future, we would probably stay at Springbrook again, but would rent a different house. Finally, although I submitted this review, on this house on their "Rentals" website, my review does not appear.

Great location, lots of space!

This house offers lots of space & is in a great location! We were minutes away from the places we wanted to go. The big dining room tables offered enough space for the 10 of us to play games together. Each couple had their own room so we were able to have personal space when needed & for sleeping. The house could use a little updating, the couch in the basement is in terrible shape, 2 of the toilets rocked when sat on, the walls need to be wiped down, when we got there the one wall looked like it had soda splattered on it, one couple found a hair on their pillow (not theirs), the ceiling fan in the livingroom had like 2 inches of dust on it & someone spilled water on the kitchen floor and when they wiped it up the paper towel was black so the floors weren't clean. Beware of the pool table as the basement floor is not flat so the table wasn't steady which deterred us from shooting pool at all. Overall we did have a great stay though & enjoyed our time together.

Nice home for a large family

14 family members ranging from 6 months to 75 years stayed at this home for a weekend holiday get together. Overall, the property is spacious and beautiful. The bedrooms were all good sized and we enjoyed the open concept kitchen/living/dining rooms. My 5 year old had fun utilizing the pool in the clubhouse. A few things to note. Although the house wasn’t dirty per say, it also wasn’t as clean as I would expect. My daughter prefers to be barefoot and her feet were black within an hour of running around the house. A little more attention to detail would go a long way. For example, there is a large entertaining room in the basement including a kitchenette but no garbage cans. A few of the door knobs were coming undone, and there were random command strips on one of the walls. The kitchen was very nice, but the few small pans made it difficult to cook for a large family. Overall, we had a great stay and would come back.
