Wisconsin Dells Cabin in the Woods

Located in the middle of everything Dells, you can easily reach all Wisconsin Dells and Lake Delton attractions. This Cabin is in the middle of 2/3 an acre of untouched woods and natural beauty. It has 160 ft of water frontage with Dells Creek. There is a Beach and Canoe rental shop just in front at Newport Park! Recently remodeled with WIFI in mind, you'll enjoy a modern entertainment center, electric fireplace, reclining sofa, breakfast nook, electric appliances, and newer washer & dryer.

Canoe, Beach and Boat Launch right across the street at Newport Park! This Cabin sits atop a hill about 100 ft from Dells Creek. Water from Lake Delton empties into the Wisconsin River by way of this Creek. You'll have access to 160 ft of Creek frontage to enjoy nature's wildlife and fishing. You'll likely spot an eagle as they like to fish from the Creek. Ducks and geese are plentiful. Deer will likely be spotted at nightfall when they come out to feed and you may see them running and playing very early at daybreak. Next to Newport Park is River's Edge Resort with boat rentals and a fish bait shop. Conveniently grab your minnows and/or night crawlers for your fishing needs! Only remember not to clean fish indoors on sink or tub. Clean fish outdoors. The driveway to the Cabin is narrow and will not accommodate a trailer and boat.

:> Outdoor Grill: Bring charcoal for the outdoor park-style grill.
:> Netflix is available for guests to sign in. If you find Netflix already signed in on an account that does not belong to you, do not change the Plan, Language nor Maturity settings.
:> Beds: There is a total of five (5) beds. The sofa bed is queen size. The bunk bed is twin on top and full on bottom. The master bedroom has a queen size bed. The "single bed" is a fold-out chair bed.
:> Thermostat is remotely controlled but guests can adjust temperature for comfort. Leave fan at "auto" or "circulate" settings. Do not set fan to "on" for continuous running.
:> Firepit: Most local convenience stores sell bundled wood for burning. You may grab whatever brush and fallen tree limbs you can find in the nearby wooded area.
:> Covid19: Due to the coronavirus, we’re taking extra care to both clean and also disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations.

My husband and I had a great time staying there. This cabin’s location is far enough away to be out of the main hustle and bustle of the Dells yet still conveniently close to everything. The accommodations were clean, up to date and very comfortable. Would definitely want to stay here again!

Great little cabin

This great little cabin is nestled into the woods. Plenty of critters to watch while sitting on one of two patios. Close to the Wisconsin River and Dell creek. I will come back.

Stayed over for the weekend it was about a 10-minute drive to everywhere we wanted to go. The house was clean. Nice overlook of the river. Good for 2 people to stay. Would recommend staying here no complaints. Always have had no problems renting thru VRBO.

We had a very nice time here. As stated, it’s incredibly close, yet removed, from all of the major Dells attractions. We really loved the property. Sitting by the creek in the backyard and watching the wildlife and the Duck boats leaving the river was very pleasant! The cabin itself was clean and perfect for our family of three and our dog. The park across the street on the Wisconsin river was great. We took our kid to the beach and he had a blast while we relaxed. There is also a small playground there which he enjoyed. Also-the restaurant right there was not bad at all and very convenient. One small suggestion-a roll of paper towels and box of Kleenex per stay would be appreciated by guests and a very small expense.Thank you!

Great Dells getaway

We really enjoyed our stay here. We had everything we needed (plenty of bath towels, kitchen essentials, ect.). The beach across the street is perfect. We spent 5 days total and went to the dells for a few days and the beach the rest of the time. The Dells is a short 5 minute drive to all the attractions. The beach across the street is walking distance and NOT crowded like other beaches. There is also a bar and grill located across the street that we had dinner at. The food was great, but they do get busy at dinner time. We did have a pretty good storm and lost power overnight. Our host was great about contacting us and making sure everything was okay. There was a backup emergency light that was super helpful. Overall a great experience for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids aged 14 and 6). Would definitely stay here again.

23 vacation

You know what they say... location, location, location. This property had it. Far enough off the main strip so you miss the hussle and bussle, but close enough to be in the action. We enjoyed watching the duck tours coming out if the river. The wild life in the back yard was nice. The cabin was clean, plenty of extra pillows and blankets. Full size washer and dryer came in handy. Looked like they tried to update the cabin a little. For the most part the cabin was good. Grass needed mowed. Had to walk through tall grass to enjoy the 2nd fire pit and the creek that ran through the property. But.... for the price i would have expected more.... comparable properties we have stayed at had welcome treats, early check-in, and more updated cabin. All in all would i stay here again? yes

Bring all necessities

The family and I did a quick 2 night stay at this home. Very cute an quaint. A creek in the back yard and the river across the street left us with plenty of sand and fishing fine. While that was great, the stay at the home felt…more like a chore than a vacation stay. We planned to make dinner at the house rather than waste fishing time and spending more money. The cooking utensils melted in the food. Salt and paper is the only thing they offered. Glad this one trip we actually decided to pack food and condiments, because usually we DONT. Make sure you pack everything you need all the way down to the toilet paper and the hand soap. They offer one travel size shampoo and conditioner. We had 4 children stay with us and the towel situation was a mess. Hopefully your children don’t make messes or spill because they only offer you one towel per visitor and only one hand towel per day of the visit. Which any parent should know that’s just not doable. We picked this cabin as it said it slept 5-6. But that’s all it does comfortably. There was no room for everyone to sit as a family and hang out. The main bed was very uncomfortable, worse than a hotel room. The hot water heater must have been set as low as could be. We could only have one person shower in the morning and one shower at night without the water turning cold. When checkout time came we didn’t have enough hot water to shower, wash dishes or even do the laundry.

The cabin was clean, cozy, and updated. The property was expansive with plenty of room to spread out and enjoy nature. It was the perfect size for two family’s of three. We saw tons of bird species while fishing from the bank. We utilized the fire pit and were able to walk across the street for drinks and a pizza. The communication was great and check in was a breeze. We had a great stay and will look to stay again.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at the cabin. Its conveniently located along the creek and across the road from the beach. The inside was super cozy and we felt right at home. It was very clean. In the mornings, while washing dishes, i was able to watch deer directly out the window. In the evenings we were able watch them wander around the yard. It was stunning
