"The best thing about this hotel was the location just a stone's throw away from the Berlin Hauptbahnhof, which made travel to and from and within Berlin relatively simple (hint: make sure you get separate online maps of the U-Bahn and S-Bahn systems before going to Berlin). Also, in the Hbf, there is a VERY convenient and reasonably priced "BIO" supermarket.
The hotel staff were nice enough but not particularly knowledgeable about Berlin. My wife and I particularly objected to the check-in procedure, which required our jet-lagged selves to fill out a bunch of information online which should have already been in their system. Also, the staff failed on two days to refill our Nespresso pods, a minor irritant, but for the money we were paying, not acceptable. And for that money there should have been 4 pods for two people, not 2. Fortunately, there was an on-street coffee kiosk 50 meters from the hotel.
We would stay here again, all things considered . The housekeeping and HVAC systems were very good. And again, the location is unbeatable."
