"The quality and comfort of the property more than met expectations, and is conveniently located. I cannot fault it in any way. My only issues were with Hotels.com; firstly in the fact that there was no information provided about the check in process. I needed to work out for myself that it could only be at the Mayfield Hotel next door. This lack of information seemingly also affected the hotel. On arrival I was asked to pay the outstanding balance by card, which I did. When I checked my bank account later in the day I found I was simultaneously being debited for the same amount by Hotels.com. Thankfully the manager of the hotel was very helpful and reimbursed me for the amount taken."

"Very friendly staff who were amazing, good bar at reasonable prices., tasty good value food. Good shower and parking. Room was clean and well presented, Only issue was adjoining rooms were noisy Otherwise lovely hotel. Would stay again."

"On arrival, Sue greeted us, showed us around, fresh milk in fridge, tea, coffee, sugar. The best information folder I have seen, nothing left out. The cottage was lovely, amazing hot tub, use of our own patio, secured for our dogs use of part of her beautiful garden. Situation was amazing to explore our favourite North Yorkshire, Scarborough to Whitby, Sands End, the moors. Cannot rate highly enough. Fab stay!"

"Me and my family had a lovely time here in Oct. Upon arrival we were shown to our accommodation, given a leaflet on what times things where in and a restaurant menu. My two girls aged 6 and 13 were thrilled with the onsite pool. The private bookable hour slot for no extra charge was great. The pool is heated to a decent temperature.It is about a 20 minute drive to actual Scarborough. There is a complex about a 6/8 minute drive away with Morrisons, McDonald’s, Costa and kfc.The staff are all really friendly, accommodation was clean and very well equipped. The food in the bar and restaurant was lovely. The prices were great as well. There is no drop curb to park on the drive so you have to go up it. Could probably do with like an air dryer to hang costumes and towels or, a washing line over the bath. We would stay here again and would recommend to others."
