"We enjoyed the hotel because it was only a few steps from the stairs to the Stift Melk. We especially enjoyed the restaurant and our server. The people there could not have been more helpful."

"Hostel style, one sleeps in a wooden box in a large shared room. Bathrooms are very nice, everything is communal. That increases social interactions and people are generally respectful and engaging, eager to help each other. The cost is low and for a place to stay and enjoy Melk, it was fine. The GPS points you to the other side of the building, rather, the place is on the street closer to the train line."

"Check in and out was incredibly easy, and pleasant. I was greeted immediately upon arrival, and checked in, I was then given great maps and directions from the hotel to the Abbey and locations I wished to visit during my stay. It was all very lovely!"
