We wanted a walk-in shower and preferably a box-spring (higher) bed; with some kitchen/pantry facilities. We got all that, the photographs on the site did not lie: high quality apartment, excellent bathroom, bedroom spacious enough with a good quality bed, ample towels, also option for extra or 'neck' pillow. "Wir hatten wirklich schöne Tage am Bodensee. Da die Wohnung auf dem Berg liegt, empfehlen sich E-Bikes, wenn man nicht immer mit dem Auto fahren möchte. Wir hatten normale Räder und das letzte Stück war bei über 30 Grad schon sehr anstrengend. Bei den Temperaturen wäre eine Klimaanlage noch das Nonplusultra."

"Even though we didn’t speak much German, we could communicate with the host through VRBO and the messages were translated. We appreciated the lockbox entry so we didn’t need to arrive at a specific time. There was free parking behind the house. Unfortunately we had a massive van and we couldn’t fit it in the parking area, but the host directed us to another spot we could use. There were three spacious bedrooms, and a well supplied kitchen. There was a large bathroom and a nice patio area too....

Man ist schnell am Bodensee, doch weit genug weg vom Trubel, damit man auch Ruhe hat. Guter Fleischhauer und Bäcker in Gehnähe. Wir kommen gerne wieder!"

Unsere Erwachsenen Kinder bewohnten das Gegenüber liegende Appartement, wodurch wir jeden Morgen auf dem Balkon unseres Appartements gemeinsam Frühstücken konnten. Cons- some overlooked areas in cleaning- smears of something on walls and picture frames, a dirty cooking pot, etc. The main problem was the shower. While it looked very nice, it was poorly designed.
