Lakeside Cottage Primbee - Absolute Waterfront Position

Only 1 hour drive from Sydney's Southern suburbs, and 15 mins south of Wollongong.

Located directly on Lake Illawarra, Lakeview Cottage is a modern 3 bedroom self contained brick waterfront cottage.

Accommodates 7-9 (7 on beds + 2 extra on double sofa bed in lounge room)
* Main bedroom- Queen bed with ensuite
* Bedroom 2 - Double bed and 1 single bed,
* Bedroom 3 - Twin single beds,
* Double sofa bed in lounge room

Blankets and pillows are provided.

NOTE- linen and towels are NOT automatically included in your booking.
We offer guests the choice to either bring your own linen and towels and save money, or else hire from the linen service for an additional laundering fee.

Why?
Our aim is to provide great value for money quality accommodation, and as such we like to provide our guests the choice to keep prices as low as possible.

However if you would like linen and towels provided, please let us know at least 1 week before your stay so that it can be pre-booked and ready upon your arrival.

A short drive to Warrawong shopping centre, Windang and Warilla beach and other local tourist attractions around the Illawarra district. Great surf inlets are nearby for safe swimming for children and play parks within walking distance.

Come and relax for the weekend, unwind and watch the sunsets over the lake.
Boats in photo are not included, but guest are welcome to bring their own kayak, canoe, or blow up boat for fun on the lake.

Deposit of 20% non refundable is required to secure the booking. Payment of the rental deposit constitutes the clients acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

The owners will make every effort to ensure the property is available as booked. However the owners reserve the right to make alterations to bookings due to unforeseen circumstances.

To maintain a good standard for our guests we require certain conditions to be complied with. We appreciate most will respect our property but the occasional abuse requires that we state the following conditions.

Number of Guests should not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation Notice or subsequently agreed in writing or email. Fees will apply for excess guests not agreed with the owners in advance.

Parties and Functions are strictly prohibited. The price charged is for domestic use only and not commercial. Accordingly this rate does not allow for the extra wear associated with functions in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc. Use contrary to this may result in loss of your bond and/or additional payments.

Damage, Breakages, Theft and Loss are the tenants responsibility during their stay.

Departure - the property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival. Check-out time is 10am by the latest, to allow time to prepare property for next guests.

If the property is left in a state that requires additional cleaning, above the regular allowance cleaning time, then an additional cleaning fee will be charged.

Disturbance to our neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination of rental and loss of bond.

Linen is to be supplied by the tenant unless hire arrangements are made.

Pets are not allowed unless specific arrangements have been made in writing with the owner.

Loss - the owners take no responsibility for the tenant’s personal property.

Variations to these conditions may only be made by prior arrangements with the owner in writing.

We are a group of 6 adults; the house was amazingly spacious for all of us. Such an open relaxed feel in a great location on the lake. Well equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds and lounges. Great location close to many scenic attractions. We would definitely stay there again.

Great location.
Wonderful location on the southern shoreline of Lake Illawarra. Access down driveway to two parking bays. Easy access to house. Well appointed with everything needed for our stay. Ensuite to main but must advise that the bed base is quite dangerous as it sticks out from the mattress and is made of timber which injured the occupants on several occasions. It needs to be replaced urgently. Airconditioning to living area. Laundry but lightglobe was dead! Great living area and view. Some light fittings are broken. Overall we had a great stay again with Stayz.

Ideal location to spend the weekend
Property is located right on the lake waters and have nice setup of lounge area and outdoors. The bedrooms are considerably smaller and most importantly missing Air cons. No fans in the house as well. Another key missing things are Dishwasher and Clothes dryers. These are the life essentials these days and should be installed. The host/property manager is extremely helpful and does every attempt to fix the problems upon reported.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. I think there are a few small improvements that could be made that work make a huge difference. The walls are all a bit grubby and it could do with a fresh coat of paint to make everything feel a bit cleaner. The kitchen facilities are all a bit old and worn and the knives are not very sharp or functional. The addition of a dishwasher would be good. The window fittings in the bedroom are very sheer. So the light comes in very early. However the view is spectacular and the layout of the house is wonderful. We did really enjoy our stay and would come back again. Thank you

Peaceful and private location with a beautiful view of Lake at the back. It's almost always windy in the backyard due to the lake so if you want to make the most of the picnic table on the verandah It's a good idea to bring warm clothing. The house was clean and tidy with a working DVD player, fridge, freezer, stove, oven, kettle and toaster. The owner was easy to get in contact with and entry to the property and wifi connection were easy. Would definitely return

Lovely View
Good location, nice view. Comfortable accommodation. Electric Flame Effect fire heated, but no flame effect, owner said the light doesn’t work, so could be fixed. There were no instructions for use, so we had to guess. Took me half an hour to google, but as it had no brand name, this was not helpful. There is a cover on the bottom that holds the controls, but as it’s older, the knobs and labels had worn off. Instructions for use of the oven are necessary. Again had to google how it works. The time has to be set on the oven clock for it to heat up. As it’s turned off at the wall, this resets each time new people arrive. Fridge light does not work. Didn’t like that the air conditioning was set to 23 and could not turn it up? It also turned off after we went to bed. It was cold in the house. The small bedroom heater that was supplied rattled and didn’t sound right, so we didn’t use it. Overall a nice relaxing stay but there are definitely some improvements that would have made our stay easier.

Great house for family members to have a holiday together. Location next to the lake was great with excellent water views. The sun shining into the living area lifted our spirits. Good bbq facility and outside recreation area suitable for a family holiday.

Attention to detail was required, remote for air con batteries not working
The view was great 10 out of 10 There were no light bulbs in 3 of the lamps and the ceiling lights had light bulbs that did not work The micro wave smelt awful Worst thing was the state of the oven - totally disgusting and obviously has not been cleaned for a very long time. We tried to use it but it smoked badly with burnt on grease being present The frypans in the cupboard were also really dirty and greasy as was the shelf they was sitting on We took food to cook in the oven but could not cook in the oven so went out to eat - which was not on our agenda The toilet seat in the en suite bathroom was too small for the size of the loo The light inside the "pretend" fire did not work - it would have been nice on the cold wet night to sit and see some "flames" There was not a good enough list of the things that were in the kitchen ie tea towels and pantry items The house was reasonably clean but the mattress protectors did not look inviting There was no barrier around the back patio which would have eventuated in an accident if anyone had been too close to the edge If all the above were rectified the cottage would have been perfect and worth a second visit Just a case of attention to detail and undertaking regular inspections of the property to ensure that any guests would feel right at home.
