"Charming, tastefully decorated accommodation, with a good sized fully enclosed garden, which was important for our dog. Plenty of walks nearby if you like rambling (I recommend the OS maps app). The Hayloft was fully equipped for our needs, though we did choose to eat out as there are many pubs and cafes to choose from in the surrounding area. Wickham Market is a small, very charming town and the Hayloft sits on the outskirts so was private and was pleasantly quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our hosts were very friendly and helpful."

"On the plus side the housekeeper was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The bathroom was beautifully tiled but the fittings were not working as they should. We did mention that the sink plug stuck but it was still the same when we left. Breakfast was also excellent and could not fault the full English for quality and cooking. Only minuses are traffic noise - which is beyond the hotel’s control - but they are single glazed sash windows which we had opened because of the hot still air. The courtyard parking is available for a price but few used it except for unloading and loading suitcases then parking in the street nearby."

"Thoroughly enjoyable week. Ideal for a large group with children. Lots of amenities, books, toys and games. Everyone enjoyed the tennis court and the children the hot tub. We were celebrating a birthday holiday so had a couple of meals out in Woodbridge, the BBQ for 18 of us worked really well, with us all gathering around the long table in the Dairy Hall. One family with 8 month old son were ideally catered for in the Granary. Plenty of walks around the local fields with open spaces for walking the dog. Definitely recommend this place for a large family group."

"Gorgeous place, very clean, lovely staff, high quality food. I can’t believe the breakfast is included because it was 5 star quality. The only note would be to add some conditioner as part of the toiletries in the room and maybe some smaller keys. Would recommend and stay again!"

"Lovely cottage and surroundings. The only downside for us really, was the settees that weren’t overly comfortable, and smelt of dogs, which for a cottage that has no pets, seemed strange. There was limited kitchen space, and there was a raised border on the floor between the the table and sink area, which I kept catching on the my chair when trying to get up. Nearly fell the first time. After a few times, I sat at the end of the table. However, this was just a base for us though. Only there three days, and out most of time.On the plus side, there were two 6 foot beds ðŸ‘. The one in the main bedroom was too soft for us, but could suit someone else perfectly. The one in the second bedroom was much firmer, and perfect for us. I imagine it’s just had children on it, as it was two singles zipped together.The area is lovely. Captain’s Wood is a lovely walk where we saw fallow deer. Only a mile away so able bodied people could walk from the cottage. We were surprised at all the sand particularly when trying to cycle through it in places at Rendlesham Forrest (6 miles from cottage). Recommend for cyclists and walking.Overall, it was a lovely break for us. The hosts were very helpful when we needed but otherwise didn’t bother us. As for the animals they were very entertaining and made this place special."
