Noise ordinance - NO loud voices after 9 pm outdoors. No loud music outdoors. Neighbors live there year round. Must respect the quiet times.
Max 8 People. No more than that - if visiting - you need to clear with me first - but only 8 can sleep there. No fires indoor or outdoor.
ONLY 1 Dog is allowed as a pet. All poop must be thrown in the woods. $350 cleaning fee to remove smell and stains from inside areas. Not left alone

Tons to Do, Beautiful!

We booked this for our friends to stay here while attending our wedding. The place was gorgeous, immaculate, and gave them plenty to do (including kayaking!) while we got ready for the wedding and took photos!

Perfect relaxing location

Night on the lake

I rented this property for a quick retreat for my colleagues and myself. Beautiful property inside and out. Lake access with paddleboats and kayaks. Owner was accessible and very friendly. Will be staying here again in the future!! 5 stars!

Lovely spot

Nice place with plenty of room. Kitchen had everything we needed. The 2nd floor bathroom would be better situated so the other bedroom occupants don’t have to go through the “master” to use bathroom. Otherwise, nice place!

My friends all cancelled at the last minute but my daughter and granddaughter came with me and we had a blast at the house and the antique show. Thank you for sharing your house.

The property was spacious and overall quiet. Plenty of room for the 6 of us to have our own space or gather together as desired. The deck and kitchen were lovely areas to hang out together. However, the overall upkeep of the place and thoughtfulness regarding guests needs was a little lacking. For example, there was a big kitchen but the actual useful items for a family to cook were lacking (e.g., the only skillet was so deformed you couldn't cook much in it), rather it seemed to be filled with old appliances and such that the owner no longer uses. There were 4 kayaks, but one didn't have a kayak paddle. The path down to the pond/kayaks was very slick and steep in places - one of us fell. The bathrooms were dark and quite dated. Overall, we didn't feel it was worth the amount we paid.

Beautiful escape near Brimfield

Lots of room for friends to enjoy a summer escape on the water in Woodstock. We arrived before the dock was in the water (May) so we couldn’t take advantage of the great number of water craft. The access from the house to the water is steep and natural so bring your walking stick if your not as steady on your feet. The house is beautiful and everything you need is provided for you, in season the window ac unit is available if you need it. Our hosts were amazing - we spent the days outside and had early heatwave and they were so accommodating. It’s as lovely as it looks!

My husband and my step daughter and family stayed here. It is an open space a living room. Sitting room. 4 bedroom and 2 bathroom but kitchen is a women or a person who enjoys cooking dream kitchen. Large counter in middle with stools, and dining table for up to 8. It's amazing. This place has everything you need, clean. But wait til u step out on the wrap around deck... The view from there... Lake a shirt walk from the house. I would rather this place 5 stars. Communication with host was fast. I would love to come back again. Thank you. Sitting on that deck was like a piece of heaven!

Trip to Brimfield Antique Shows

The property is completely beautiful in a quiet and lush woodlot overlooking the lake with naturalized plantings and a spacious deck. We only stayed for one night and ate out, but the kitchen is expansive and well fitted out with pots and pans and would be great for a large group and entertaining family and friends.

Thanksgiving Vacation House

What a delight to open the kitchen curtains and seeing the beautiful lake! Peaceful, refreshing, perfect way to start the holiday or any memory moment! This was our second stay at the house and it was better than the first! We hiked locally and enjoyed the events throughout the town.

Beautiful Location

The house is in a beautiful location and is setup wonderfully to joyfully cook a big meal with a group of people. The house is comfortable and inviting, if a bit worn down (chipping paint, rust, and some dusty shelves). The beds are comfortable as are the sitting and living rooms. The jetted bathtub in the pictures was out of order and there are instructions not to use the wood stoves. The hosts have very distinct instructions and their personality was clearly showcased.

Great time just not what we thought

Lovely space, huge place for the price, amazing communication with the host!!! Above and beyond assistance with our host. The one issue is that from the listing we thought this was a lake front house with swimming access but the pond/lake is pretty mucky and no clear dock swimming here. As our primary goal was lake time this listing wasn’t a great fit.

Great accomodations, serene location

The weather was less than ideal, but our family enjoyed the very spacious kitchen, playing music, doing puzzles, and, when weather permitted, kayaking and fishing on the beautiful pond. It seemed like we were the only ones on the pond most of the time. Secluded and quiet location. On morning walks w/ the dog, we saw deer, a fox, and other wildlife. It was a bit longer drive than we were used to for groceries, etc, but was well worth it for the peaceful relaxation that it afforded! We had a lovely time!

Just missed the mark

The overall accommodations were fine. We enjoyed our stay. the house however was a bit dated, not enough lighting. the condition of the BBQ grille was appalling, which took us a great deal of time to clean. The Kayaks also needed to be hose down.
