"A quality hotel ideally situated 2 blocks from Fishermans Wharf which is quiet. The experience commences as you pull into the arrivals where a very efficient attendant deals with your luggage whilst you speedily check in with extremely helpful staff. The hotel room was spotless with plenty of space and comfy beds. The lobby and "Firepit Area" are inviting after an evening out. We did not use the adjacent restaurant as we thought the Menu was limited, and chose to dine both evenings on the Wharf at Swiss Louis. We would use this hotel again on a future visit without question as being very good value for money. "

"Great location! Just a couple blocks from Fisherman’s Wharf, Pier 39, and cable car turn around. We stayed in room 501 which gave a great view of downtown and Coit tower."

"Unless you have a special need to be within close proximity of Pier 39, go elsewhere. Property is dated, they’ve tried their best to present a modern feel but it’s a 60’s building (possibly older) that has been revamped. Rooms are tidy albeit tight annd the bath/ shower feels like you’re in a residence that should be charging a lot less. Hygiene staff attentive and thorough, check in staff were indifferent (would make it a rule to not drink Dunkin Donut branded Iced Coffees whilst on desk). Overall, pay the same money and stay somewhere like the Westin. Don’t be fooled by the “dangerous city” there are just as many problems at the pier but certainly the accommodation is of a lesser standard."
