The property is beautiful and located in the common that provides wildlife and stunning views. The host Catherine was really helpful and the communication was great! The neighbours Anne and John and their son recommended a stunning walk to watch the sunset and even let us into their home to see the local badger out of the window. This was honestly the best UK...

"Lovely weekend stay in the Shepherds hut. Comfortable bed for a great nights sleep. Beautiful and peaceful location. Great shower. All the facilites required in the shared kitchen area. "

"Our experience was perplexing from the start, with directions so inadequate that we had to ask the way. When we arrived I was attacked by geese at large in the grounds. Despite profuse apologies from the owner's wife, and the geese then confined to a wired pen, the owner said he wouldn't be lectured, walking away when I offered some advice on the facilities.
